You Still Have All of My Heart (Kellin & Katelynne Qunn Fan Fic)

Chapter 3: Kellin

     I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. It was 6:00. The tour bus was picking me up at 7:00. I sighed and started to get up. Katelynne rolled over in bed and smiled sleepily.

     "Good morning, babe," she said.

     "Good morning," I replied walking over to her and kissing her forehead.

     She sighed. "I'm gonna miss you. We all are," she told me.

     "Well, I'm gonna miss you, too, but we'll get through it. We always do," I told her. I really didn't want to leave, especially now that Cope was born, but I was going to have to get through it. It was just 2 months. I've been away for longer. I could do it. It might be hard, but I would have to get over it.

     "Yes, we do, but it's gonna be different this time," she told me. She got up from the bed and grabbed some clothes.

     "I know. It's gonna be tough, but we'll get through and maybe it will be easier next tour," I reassured her.

     "Yeah, maybe," she said pulling her Anthem Made t-shirt over her head.

     "Hey. Remember what I told Liam? It applies to you, too. Well of course you won't have to ask your mom, but you can call me anytime or text me or FaceTime or whatever," I told her getting closer.

     "Ok," she said with a laugh. She didn't seem to sure, but at least I tried. I leaned into kiss her at the same time there was a knock at the door.

     "Wait s sec, honey," Katelynne said pulling on a pair of jeans.

     She opened the door. "Mom, I don't feel good," Liam said. I could tell he was lying. I wasn't sure if he was trying to get me to stay or he just didn't want to go to school. It probably wasn't school since it was the last day and they weren't doing much.

     Katelynne bent down to feel his forehead. "You feel fine to me," she said, "Why don't you go to school and if you don't feel well later, go to the nurse and I'll come pick you up, ok?" she told him standing up.

     "Ok," he moped.

     "Hey and you can call me and tell me if you're feeling better when you get home," Kellin told him, trying to make him feel better.

     "Ok," he said. He brightened ups bit at that and walked back to his room.

     "I'm gonna go start breakfast," Katelynne told me and left our room. I got dressed quickly and joined my beautiful fiancé in the kitchen.

     I put Rowan and Liam's breakfast in front of them and heard a cry from Copeland's room.

     "I'll get her," I volunteered. I was more than happy to get her. I wouldn't see her until the show in Michigan, which was over an month away.

     I entered her room and saw her fussing in her crib.

     "Hey, baby girl," I greeted her. "It's ok. Daddy's here now." I picked her up and felt her diaper, which was wet.

     I put her down on the changing table and changed her diaper and her clothes. Usually Katelynne picked out her outfit, but I wanted to spend as much time as possible with her.

     I brought her back to the kitchen. Katelynne looked at me and nodded her approval of Cope's outfit.      "Good morning, Cope," Rowan greeted her. Copeland gurgled happily as if to say hello.

     After we were done eating, I got a text. "They're here," I announced.

     "Ok," Katelynne said reluctantly. We all went outside me with my suitcase in hand.

     "You got everything?" Katelynne asked.

     "Yeah. I think I've got everything that I own," I joked with a chuckle.

     "Good," she said.

     I kissed Copeland's forehead. "Be good for Mommy," I told her. She grinned at me happily. She didn't know I was leaving. She was too young.

     "Same for you guys. Be good for you mom," I told them and bent down to give them each a hug.      "Ok," the said unhappily.

     I kissed Katelynne on the lips. I didn't want to let go. "You need to go," she told me after a while. Her eyes glistened with tears.

     "It'll be ok," I tried to reassure her. I hated to see her cry. She nodded. I kissed her once more and got on the bus. Why did I have to leave now, when Copeland was so young and when my fiancé needed me. I sighed and waved out the window as we drove away.
