Chapter 12: Katelynne

     It was July 15th, which was the day Warped Tour was in Michigan. I had taken the day off. The boys were up early and excited. We had breakfast and were on our way. We had exclusive passes to the tour bus area because we were family. When we got there, I flashed my pass at the guards and they let us in. I couldn't wait to see Kellin again. It had been too long.

     "What does their tour bus look like again?" Rowan asked.

     "Well, it's black with that design on the side," Liam replied. He stood on his tip toes as if it would help him see.

     "Oh, yeah. That's right," Rowan said squinting from the sunlight.

     After about 15 minutes, we found it. We knocked on the door ad Jesse opened it.

     "Hey, Katelynne," he greeted, "Hey Rowan; hey Liam. Come in." He stood aside as we could enter.

     Kellin was sitting on one the couches in the front and Liam and Rowan bombarded him. He looked so cute. I hadn't realized how much I truly missed him.

     "Hi, Kellin," Liam exclaimed.

     "Hey guys," Kellin said hugging him and then Rowan. He then reached for Copeland. "Give me my baby girl," he said happily. I hadn't seen him happier.

     I handed him Cope and he kissed her on forehead. "I missed you," he murmured. I sat down next to him and he kissed me. It was long, making up for lost time.

     "I missed you guys," he announced.

     "Believe me, we missed you more," I told him.

     "I'm not sure if that's possible. I missed you pretty damn much," he said lovingly. I smiled. I couldn't ask for a better to be with. He was an amazing father and loved me more than anything. What else could I ask for?

     "What time are you playing?" Rowan asked.

     "We're playing 1:15 and we're doing an acoustic set at 3 and a signing after the acoustic set," he told us, handing me Copeland back.

     "Wow. You guys are busy," I commented.

     "Warped is more serious than you think," Jack joked from the others side of the bus. I chuckled.

     "Is Jenna coming?" I asked Jack. Jenna was his girlfriend. She was super nice.

     'Yeah, but she won't get here till around 12:30 because she has to work," he answered.

     "Ok. Is Ashley coming, Jesse?" I asked. Ashley was Jesse's wife. We were really good friends, but I hadn't seen her in a while.

     "Yep. She should be here soon," he responded. I would have to ask Justin and Gabe if their girlfriends were coming, too. I hadn't seen them in a while either.

     "What time is it?" asked Kellin suddenly.

     "12:15. We have an hour till we play," Jesse told him.

     "Ok, cool," Kellin said, "Can I have Cope back?"

     "Of course," I said with a smile and handed her over. I loved the way he looked her. It was a look of love (not to sound cheesy). He loved so much. I was lucky that he was such a good.

     We caught up while we waited for Ashley and Jenna.

     "Hey," Ashley said as she climbed on he bus. Jesse ran up to her and swooped her into a hug and kissed her. They were so cute together.

     Soon, Jenna was there and we started to head over to the Monster Stage so Sleeping With Sirens could get ready to play.

     We watched their. Liam and Rowan seemed to be immensely enjoying themselves. Copeland obviously was too young to understand what was happening. She just smiled and kicked her legs along to the music. They played an amazing set, as usual. I was so proud of Kellin. He was truly amazing at what he did.

     After they were done, we went to the Sleeping With Sirens tent because Liam and Rowan wanted to get t-shirt.

     "You guys need to start making ban sizes," I joked.

     "Cope would look very in a mini Sleeping With Sirens shirt, wouldn't she?" Kellin joked back and kissed her forehead. I was glad to have him back, even if it was just for the day.

     We bought the t-shirts and made our war over to the Acoustic Basement stag. By no means was the stage actually a basement. It was more like a tent. The set went well. At the end, Kellin said, "This is gonna be our last song, but we'll be doing a signing at our tent right after this. This song is called James Dean & Audrey Hepburn and I'd like to dedicate it to my lovely fiancé, who also inspired the title. Love you, babe."

     I blushed and some people turned around to look at me with smiles. He was too sweet. I wanted to shout out "Love you, too," but I resisted the urge.

     "Stay for tonight, if you want to, I can show you…" Kellin began singing. This was one of my favorite songs they play live. I might be bias because something I said a long time ago inspired the title, but I really loved how the fans sang along to every single word. It amazed me.

     "Thanks you! See you guys at the singing. We want to meet all of you!" Kellin announced when the song was done.

     After the signing, Kellin was going to King for a Day with Pierce The Veil. It was my first time meeting them since they hadn't been friends with Kellin for that long.

     "Can we come backstage?" Rowan asked Kellin hopefully.

     "I don't see why no," Kellin responded with a shrug. So we headed backstage. Pierce the Veil was playing main stage this year.

     "Hey, Kellin," a guy said. He had shoulder length brown hair, darker skin, a nose ring, and brown eyes. He was holding an electric guitar.

     "Hey, Vic," Kellin greeted with a smile. Vic started walking towards us and three other guys followed. On had spiky brown hair, darker, and brown eyes. The second had shoulder length brown hair, a lip piercing, a lot of tattoos, darker skin, and brown eyes. The last one had the most tattoos, a piercing in his upper cheek, gauges, half his head shaved and half long. He also had brown eyes and hair and darker skin. This must be Pierce The Veil.

     "Hey guys," Kellin said to them.

     "Are you Katelynne?" Vic asked. I guess the baby gave it away.

     "Yep," I replied.

     "Nice to meet you. Kellin talks about you all the time," Vic told me, "Anyway, this is Jaime, Mike, and Tony."

     "Nice to meet you guys," I told them with a smile.

       "And you two must be Rowan and Liam," Vic said looking down at my boys. They nodded. "Let me guess. You're Rowan and you're Liam," he guessed. He was good; he was exactly right. It was probably their heights that made it easy to guess. They nodded again. "And this must be Copeland. She is adorable," Vic said, leaning down so he was eye level with the stroller.

     "Thanks, dude," Kellin said smiling proudly.

       "Time to go on, guys," someone told Pierce The Veil. They waved goodbye. They all seemed so nice. Kellin was getting ready to head on stage, when someone told him it was time to go on. He kissed me on the cheek and went out. The boys headed to the side of the stage to watch. He did amazing and the fans seemed impressed.

     When he came off, we headed back to the tour bus. We relaxed after the long day and just talked for a bit. It felt nice not have to worry about much and to be here with him. It all seemed perfect. All of us together; it seemed right. I wanted to keep that feeling forever. If everything could just stay this way everything would be ok.

     But everything would always be ok if I had Kellin
