"Come on guys. You need to finish getting ready for school," I told the boys.

We went back into the house and the boys went their room to finish getting ready.

I put Copeland in her highchair and looked at her. "You gonna miss Daddy?" I asked her even though I knew she couldn't talk back.

Liam came running into the kitchen about a half hour later and Rowan followed.

"Ready for the last day of school?" I asked them.

"Yes!" Rowan exclaimed, "Third grade is finally over!"

"I'm just happy first grade's over," Liam commented.

I grabbed Copeland and the boys grabbed their backpacks and we headed for the bus stop. We waited for a little while. I couldn't help but wonder what Kellin was doing. He was probably joking around with the members of his band, Jesse, Justin, Jack, and Gabe. Finally the bus came, snapping me out of my thoughts. The boys said goodbye and got on the bus. I took Copeland's little hand and waved it after them. We went home and I got ready to take Copeland to Kellin's parent's house so I could go to work. I got in the car and put Cope in her carseat. I drove to Kellin's parents and took Copeland out. I got out the baby bag and knocked on the door.

"Good morning, Katelynne," Mr. Bostwick greeted me, "and good morning Ms. Copeland." He  took Copeland out of my arms and kissed her forehead. She gurgles happily and smile.

Mrs. Bostwick came down the steps. "Hello, Katelynne," she greeted.

     "Hi," I greeted back.

"Oh and look at Copeland. You look adorable, Copeland," she cooed.

"Kellin picked out her outfit today," I told them.

"Really? I guess he has more fashion sense than I thought," she chuckled.

"Well, I have to go," I announced.

"Oh, yes. Don't wanna be late," she agreed with a smile.

I kissed Copeland and got back in the car to drive to work. I knew today would be shitty. I mean, I always I'm always in a bad mood after Kellin left. I sighed and walked in and was greeted by the waiters and waitresses. I was the manager at a restaurant, so I made decent money.

"Good morning, Katelynne," said Taylor. She was one of my best friends and had known her for 2 years. I had helped her get hired here.

"Hey, Taylor," I greeted a little less happily than I had intended. I was trying not to let my bad mood show. I grabbed my apron and put it on.

"You seem a little down," she commented. Damn, Taylor knew me too well. She easily saw through my pathetic act.

"Kellin left for tour today," I told her sadly.

"Oh that's right. That explains it," she said, "but you'll get through it, just like always." Why does everyone keep telling me that? First Kellin now her. I knew that's what I should do, but it was easier said than done. I mean, Copeland had been born less than four months ago.

"That's what Kellin told me, but with Cope it's gonna be harder than usual," I explained trying not to show my agitation.

"I know, but if you ever need help, just me. I'll always be here," she told me. It was just like her to support me. She was an amazing friend and was always there for me. She didn't need to tell me.      "Thanks, Tay," I told her.
