Seonghwa didn't come home until late that night. He was carrying a plastic bag full of food. A single red rose was placed on the counter and Seonghwa smiled.
"Boys! Come down here and eat before the food gets cold!"
There was no answer so Seonghwa decided to put away the food. He opened the door to the master bedroom to find the boys all cuddled up together on a blanket on the floor. A movie was playing on Hongjoong's laptop and various snacks surrounded the pile of sleeping boys. Seonghwa smiled and pulled another blanket from the closet.
"Goodnight guys."
He pulled the blanket over the 7 sleeping figures and smiled.
"Sleep tight."
He took out a sleeping bag and laid down beside the boys before falling asleep himself.
...
(Y/n) sat the foot of the bed, her body rocked back and forth.
You killed them
Her breathing was erratic and her heart pounded in her chest.
They're dead because of you, you killed them
Her sobs filled the room as memories flashed before her eyes.
...
"Eomma!"
"(Y/n)! No!"
Little (Y/n) was swept up by her brother as her parents were shot to death.
"No! Eomma!"
"Run (Y/n)!"
"Oppa!"
Her cries echoed through the hall as her uncle dragged her out of the room. A bullet buried itself into her brother's head and her screams doubled in volume.
"Uncle let me go!"
"I'm sorry."
He threw her out of the window and she hit the cold water with a splash. The last thing she saw was her uncle hanging out the window, a noose tied around his neck.
...
The image was burned into her skull. They were dead because of her. She couldn't save them. It was only her now, all she had was herself. All she had was herself, and the voices.
...
The boys woke up the next morning tangled up with eachother. Hongjoong dragged himself out of the pile and stood up.
"Okay, wake up, all of you. Mingi especially you. Go apologize to (Y/n)."
"5 more minutes..."
Mingi muttered, but Seonghwa dragged him up.
"Wake up you big doofus. Go apologize. Here, bring her a flower or something."
Mingi lazily put on a shirt and walked next door. He sighed and raised his hand to knock the door, but he hesitated. He was such an a**hole. He took a deep breath and knocked loudly on the door. (Y/n) opened the door and was instantly met with Mingi's chest.
"Uh, good morning?"
She looked up and nodded.
"Good morning."
"Oh um, thi- this is for you."
Mingi handed (Y/n) a tulip and she looked at it blankly.
"I-i just wanted to apologize, I was being an a**hole yesterday. I shouldn't have walked out like that."
