"Professor Soo was being a total a**hole today. I'm so sorry you had to see his bad side on your first day."

"No biggie, he reminds me of my homeroom teacher when I was in 10th grade. He was a jerk."

Jinji, BinBin, and Mingi were walking back to (Y/n)'s classroom when they heard yelling from inside. Mingi broke into a sprint and ran inside. Fei held (Y/n) by her hair tightly.

"I could get you fired, do you know who my father is?"

"I really don't understand why-"

"Hey!"

Mingi pulled Fei off of (Y/n).

"M-mingi! It's not what you think it is!"

"I'm engaged. Back off!"

Mingi turned to (Y/n).

"Professor? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine."

Fei scoffed and stood up.

"When I find out what's really going on here, I'll ruin your career, Professor."

"Get out of here, Fei! You're not wanted here."

Jinji pushed Fei out the door and locked it.

"Professor, are you okay? Are you sure?"

(Y/n) nodded and Mingi caressed her face gently.

"You have a bruise."

"I'm okay."

"Baby. You are definitely not okay."

(Y/n) sighed and sat down.

"If Fei finds out I'm in a relationship with you, I could be fired. Worse, I can get my credentials revoked. My career would be ruined. I'll go back to being just 'the botanist' again."

Jinji shook her head.

"It was a bad time in Professor (Y/n)'s life, no one wants it to go back to that."

"Or, at least everyone but Fei. Fei would sell her soul to watch Professor's life fall apart."

"Professor's the only one that could really rival Fei. She's successful as a college professor, she's strong and independent, she's unique and beautiful. She's everything that Fei wants to be."

"She's everything that Fei can't be."

Mingi looked at his phone and stroked (Y/n)'s cheek.

"Let's just go home. You can rest for today."

"But your classes-"

"It's okay, I only had one more class today anyways."

"Mingi..."

"(Y/n), please. You're not in the right condition to teach a class."

"Mingi, I can't. I promise, I'm okay. Just two more classes and I'm done for today."

"I'll come right back here after my last class then."

Jinji cleared her throat.

"If you don't mind Professor, me and BinBin can just go-"

"No! Oh god I'm sorry!"

(Y/n) laughed nervously and brought out some food.

"Let's eat."
