Igloo POV

"HelLo!  I'vE sEen yOu oN tHe sTreEts LatElY, anD I waS tHiNkInG tHat mAyBe I cOUld HeLp you oUt. IvE beEn oN tHe stReets my whoLe lIfe, so I'm rEallY experienced wItH stEalIng aNd fiNding FoOd," I had said trying to be friendly. The Blue nodded cautiously, and looked around for danger. I taught the bitty how to find the best scraps, and steal from the best vending stands. The Blue was rough with many scars and cracks on his bones. He was nothing like the Blue's I had seen riding with their human companions. He was rough and alert, never childish. When I had been observing him, he would try to attack any other stray bitty that just made a friendly gesture towards him. I thought since he didn't attack me, that meant he liked me. At the time I was very lonely, other bitties were always scared of me. A stray bitty can already be more aggressive, but a more powerful kind of bitty, could be deadly. My magic had slowly been draining without any friends, and bitties thrive on attention. In short, I had slowly been dying my entire life until that point. Thinking back, he was just secretly scared of me but was just trying to be tough. I thought he could be the family, that I had never had. Oh how wrong I was...

It was a warm sunny morning, and the blue bitty and I had been living together for a month. We were making are way down the sidewalk on our way to the bins for breakfast. A middle aged man was at the bins throwing away some food. At least what we considered food. We were trying to sneak past him unseen, but he saw us. He had a very negative aura. He started to yell at us, I knew what this meant. I turned around to start running, and I called for Blue to hurry. When I turned my skull around  I saw that Blue wasn't coming. He was frozen in fear as he stared into the man's fierce eyes. In the month we had coexisted, this had not happened to him yet. He was still fairly new to the streets, unlike me. He turned around to face me. His expression looked sad for an instant, before it turned, blank. "I'm sorry Error," he said truthfully. Before I could do anything, he sped towards me with incredible speed. He readied his gloved fist, and CRACK. I couldn't see out of my left eyesocket. Before I completely blacked out I saw Blue with a sorrowful expression.

When I woke up I was in a warm furry surface. I warily looked up and saw two glowing amber eyes. If I had had the energy, I would have jumped with shock. I then realized that I was on one of her fluffy paws, I started to shake with fear at the realization that I was being touched my this random cat. She gently set be down on a miniature bed, that I had seen through windows of houses. She explained that Blue had been in a bitty ring for a long time and was able to escape. He probably was destroyed by his fear of the loud man, and thought he needed to dust you in order to survive. He had been sent to another bitty shop to get better and be adopted since he couldn't face me again. I have still not recovered fully from that experience and I will never see out of my left eye ever again. The cat's name turned out to be Amber and she was really nice. She would always bustle around the shop with at least three bitties in her orange bandanna. I was put next to Starburst a bitty who was never violent, but was very dull and emotionless. We gradually became friends, and he was the first living being that I allowed to touch me. We  were the only two bitties that were being rehabilitated, that were allowed to have free range of the shop. I stayed as far away from other bitties asides from Starburst, because I was scared that something would happen again. I will always be greatfull to Amber for saving me from being dusted by my 'friend'.

I stopped spacing out and looked at the time from my hanging cocoon. It read "12:34 a.m.". "WeLl I guEsS I nEed to Go tO slEEp and reLivE thIs nIgHtMare oNce aGaiN," I mumbled as I tried to go to sleep.
