Chapter 6

  Igloo POV

                    "I know what we could do! We going to the creek today!" Y/n said enthusiastically. "I hAVe NeveR gOnE sWimMiNg bEfOrE," I said. Starburst looked a little nervous, and I was also, but I hid it. "DoN't wOrRy StArBurSt, I wiLl pRoTecT you," I said in attempt to be comforting. He scribbled down "Thank you" on his little notebook, and I smiled a little. Y/n ran and got some kind of net and container, then ran back to us. "Let's go!" she said happily. She actually looked genuinely happy. I want to see her look like that more often. She offered her hand to Starburst, who willingly stepped on and got comfortable in her hair. "Er- where would you like to be? It is a 30 minute walk so you need to ride on me," she said. I started to climb onto the container that she was holding. As I was climbing I didn't realize I was so close to the edge, because of my eye, and slipped. Y/n quickly grabbed my ragged scarf that I refused to take off, and pulled me back up. "ThAnK yOu," I said as I blushed from embarrassment. "It's okay, just make sure to be more careful!" she said. She then started to literally gallop towards this "creek". I was starstruck as I looked at the bright green trees as we ran by. You could hear crickets and birds sing as you went through this forest. She then started carefully walking across a log over a small stream. Is this line of water supposed to be a creek? Before I could think anymore we went into a small thicket and it was beautiful. There was a small tree in the middle of the clearing with the creek on one side, and a comfortable moss and grass bed. There was just enough room for a teen to stand. An adult human would definitely hit their head on the leaves and branches overhead. She let us get off onto the comfortable bed of moss and grass. "I'm going to catch some crayfish and frogs! If you guys want to come you are more then welcome to!" she said kindly. Starburst was in more awe than even me. He wrote on his paper that he was going watch us from the beautiful little tree in the middle. He then teleported up onto a branch and got comfortable.  "I wilL hElP yOu," I said. I wanted to see what these "crayfish" and "frog" things were. 

                     We went to the water and Y/n grabbed her net thing and put it through the water for some reason. I waited till the net came out and looked inside. There was a strange creature with strange claw like pinchers. It was a little bigger than me! I inched slowly backward I  fear. "Aw don't worry! It's just a crayfish! Watch this!" She said kind of reassuringly. She put two of her fingers behind it claw arms and picked it up. It started flailing it arms around but couldn't reach back to get Y/n. She wasn't hurting the crayfish just gently holding it a few inches off the ground. "HaHhAhahAhHHahahhhaA!" I laughed. I actually laughed? I haven't laughed in years! She then released the crayfish back into the water. I pulled some string from my face and started pulling dozens of crayfish from the water with my strings. Y/n looked at me amazement clear on her face. "Wow you're really good at catching crayfish! We will have to hunt bugs, water life, and reptiles with me!" she said excitedly. "Look there's a frog!" she said  happily. I looked over only to see a humongous creature which was a supposedly be a "frog". It's going to land on me!

Starburst POV 

                  I saw that the large animal was going to hop onto Igloo, and I jumped from the branch my cape was flapping wildly as I dived to the frogs back. Dream bitties get along with animals quite well and can form a connection with one very quickly. I landed on the frog and directed it to the water. The frog jumped into the water and remained submerged so I could dismount it. I dismounted and quickly caught onto how to paddle. It was amazingly cool and refreshing to swim. I smiled and gracefully swam around the quiet part of the creek. I swam to shore and wrote down "Come on Igloo let's swim!". Igloo looked really reluctant to, so I dragged him into the water with me. In response to this he let out a really high pitched scream and started flailing about in the water. I helped him start to paddle and he caught on soon enough. Suddenly there was a large splash and we were full soaked down to the bone (Eyyyyy, please don't kill me). Y/n was soaked full now too. She swam around with us, and then Igloo splashed me. "ThAts to Get YoU bAck FoR dRagGinG me iN herE," he said clearly grumpy.

3rd POV

                The three continued to swim and splash each other, but eventually got tired of it. They then got out and layed in the bed of moss and grass. Then they crawled out of the thicket, when they thought they were dry enough. They were still fairly wet as they started to trek back to the house.

                      "Let's go!"

Hoi guys! Sorry I was a day late! I was working on an animation me yesterday, so I never got to updating. Today's chapter was just some fluff, so they could get to know each other better! My goal of views for this story was 100, but I'm surprised we already passed that! I wonder how many there will be by the end of the story? Anyway enough rambling, time for a shoutout!
