Part 2-
I scanned the arena around me, to my right there were some knocked down buildings but to my left there was what looked like an old church that was pretty intact. It could be a good place to camp out. I scanned the cornucopia and my eyes fell on a trident, right up against the horn's golden surface. I prepaired myself to sprint and out of my perefrial vision I saw Dakota about two plates down.

"30,29,28,27,26,"

I had to get to that trident. That's why it was there, for me.

"20,19,18,17,16,"

I shifted my feet and looked across the perfectly flat ground,

"10,9,8,7,6,"

I clenched my fists and bent my knees.

"5,4,3,2,1."

There was a loud bang and I saw one of the plates go off about 5 down from me. Then there was a ringing of a bell and I was off of the plate. The others were disoriented and it took them a minute to get off the plates. By the time the first one was running I was almost half way to the cornocopia. Half way to my trident. I had so much momentum by the time I got to there that I slammed into the golden horn with full force. I grabbed the trident with desprate, shaky, hands. I also snatched up a large backpack and a belt full of knives when Dakota ran up to me.

"Watch my back?" I asked him throwing him a machete and he nodded and turned his back to me as Electra came plowing into the blood bath.

"Don't you think you get to take any supplies for yourself 4." She said, "Not if you are going to be in my pack."

I smiled, "What makes you think I'm going to be in your pack?" I made a split second desicon and stabbed Dakota in the back with my trident, and Electra screamed something at me. I was already running away from the cornocopia, trident in hand, a backpack slung over my sholder and a belt of knives slung around my waist.

I felt the wind next to my head and felt a slight pain in my ear as Electra's axe flew by and dug itself into the ground in front of me. I snatched it up without slowing my pace. The District 5 boy came at me and I threw the axe at his head. Unlike Electra's, my aim was true and it buried itself into his skull and he fell dead at my feet. I wrenched the small brown backpack out of his hands and lit off for the church. I swung into the door and closed it behind me and fell back against it, breathing hard.

I stayed there for a little while before venturing into the belltower that had drawn me in initially. The stairs were creaky but they held my weight. I broke into the bell room. There was a window that I could see out off, but no one would be able to see me. I looked out across the blood bath and watched. Electra was throwing her axes and I thought I saw Rock with a spear slinging it wildly. Several people were running out into the desert and others were headed into the city on the other side of the church. No one seemed to try and come to the east side of the city, which was just fine with me. The booming of the cannons signaled the end of the bloodbath. I counted 7 blasts, that would leave 17 tributes left. I set the backpacks down and dumped them out. The District 5 backpack had a few stips of dried beef, two empty water bottles, a small thermal jacket and some bandages. The backpack that I had gotten from the Cornucopia had a huge loot. A gallon of water, some medication, 3 packs of dried beef, a small bag of small dense rolls, a sewing kit, a thermal sleeping bag, and about 10 feet of rope. Convenient thing to have in the arena.  There was also a little roll of fishing line in the bottom that I didn't see until I dug around. I looked at the bright orange backpack and the little brown one. I made the decision to try and consolidate my supplies. I was able to fit most of the dried beef into one bag and the gallon of water fit into the two water bottles. In the end I was able to fit everything but the coat, the sleeping bag, and the rope into the little brown backpack. The sun was starting to go down and the temparre began to drop rapidly. I pulled the coat on and looked out the window. The Career's had made a fire and were chatting, until the anthem started playing and they all looked up as the faces started to show. First was Dakota.
