Chapter 20

Eight Days Later

Keanna slowly began to awake

"Hey..... " I said

Keanna looked around and then frowned. I sat on the floor in front of her

"I'm so sorry. For everything!.....and I realize that I never took your feelings into consideration. You mean a lot to me. You're my best friend, wife, and sla-nevermind. I want you to be happy. So, yea, we should break up. I'm so used to seeing you smile and happy. I took all of that away......." I took my engagement ring off "We'll get a divorce and go our separate ways. It's up to you if you still want to talk to me and try to be friends. I hope that we can because I love you so much......"

Three Months Later

Keanna's P.O.V

I still live in Pensacola, just not with Roman. We got our divorce. I got Anthony with me again and Dean moved back to Pensacola too. He lives in an apartment

Roman, surprisingly, gave me money to buy a house. It wasn't enough to get out of the state though. I live a about 10 miles away from him. Dean lives 10 minutes away from me. I avoid Roman as much as I can, but that's kinda hard to do when Anthony sees Roman everyday

Right now, Anthony's at school and I'm home, looking for jobs. I jumped up when someone knocked on my door. I yanked the door open with a smile, hoping that it was Dean. I got my hopes up too high. It was Roman

"What are you doing here....... "

"Just wanted to see you" Roman pulled a bouquet of flowers from behind him

"What's this..... " I slowly took the flowers

"I was just thinking about you.....and... "

"Well.....thanks....but, I'm busy right now...." I tried to closed the door

"Wait! Can I come in..... "

I stood at the doorway. Thinking about the answer

"Please..... " Roman begged

"Fine..... " I let Roman come in

Roman looked around and sat on the couch

"Why are you here" I asked

"I can't stop thinking about you"

"I haven't had that problem"

"You're lying. You can't tell me that you haven't thought about me since you left"

Roman's right. I was lying. The doorbell rang and I answered it. This time I smiled. It was Dean

"Hey" I smiled as I hugged him

Dean hugged back "Can I come in"

"Probably not the best time....."

"What are you doing here" Roman said. I realized that he was now standing behind me

Dean gave me a look "Why is he here"

Before I could answer, Roman did "Because Keanna still wants me. Problem?"

Dean shoved flowers at me and angrily walked away. I ran to catch up to him

"Dean.... " I said

Dean turned around "What?!"

"What's wrong...."

"Why is Roman in your house"

"He got here a few minutes before you....."
