America was a little shaken up. He had no idea where he was. The last thing he remembered was the bathroom and Philip. He groaned as he tried to sit up. His body was aching quite a bit.
"Ame?" America turned to see Australia and New Zealand.
"Kiwi? Aussie, what's going on?" America asked.
"Ame! You're okay. Oh my gosh. Thank god." New Zealand gushed as he raced forward and hugged America.
"Wha-?"
"You fainted in school, so they brought you to the hospital. Canada, mom and dad are talking to the doctor." Australia explained.
"Oh."
"Don't worry they should be back soon." Australia smiled reassuringly. America just nodded.
"We're back," Canada announced as he, Britain and France walked through the curtain, a solemn look on their face.
"Hey, Nada." America greeted. Canada looked shocked but smiled and hugged his brother tightly.
"Uhm, we have something to tell you." Canada sighed as he sat down next to the hospital bed.

America stood outside the large log house, bags in his hands and Canada, Britain and France with him. They rang the doorbell twice, hearing a 'coming' resonate from within the house and the pitter-patter of footsteps.
The wooden door opened and Third Reich smiled warmly to welcome the four countries.
"Oh, come in, you can sit in the living room first. Would you like some water or tea?" Third asked as he led the four to the living room. Canada sat next to America, Britain and France sat on another couch.
"Tea would be nice." Britain smiled. France nodded.
"Water please," Canada asked.
Third just smiled and hurried away. America was still silent. Despite having a few hours to digest the information given, he still found it hard to accept. He didn't want to be an omega. And now he was forced to stay at someone else's house.
Canada must've noticed how distressed America was because he reached out and squeezed his hands reassuringly.
America gratefully squeezed back.
Third, soon came back with the drinks and Soviet came down as well.
"Here you go. Ah Soviet. They've arrived." Third smiled as he served the drinks and Soviet made his way to the living room sitting next to Third.
"We need to ask you of a favour. If that's okay with you?"
"No, anything for a friend." Soviet replied.
"We recently found out that America is an omega and the doctor recommends he stays with someone of a similar dynamic. Third is the only omega adult dynamic that we know and we trust, plus you have omega children as well, so we thought it would be better for America to stay with you while he's going through his first few heats."
Third looked slightly shocked, Soviet only nodded.
"I understand. I'll be more than happy to help you out. Is he adjusting well with his new dynamic?" Soviet asked.
Britain looked over to America who didn't look all that good, "No he hasn't taken the news very well."
"I see."
"Don't worry, rest assured, we'll take good care of him." Third smiled sympathetically.
France smiled gratefully.
"Let me get one of the kids to lead America to his room." Third offered, Britain nodded.
"Russia!" Almost immediately Russia came tumbling down the Stairs.
"Y-yes?" he froze upon seeing America and Canada, "oh," he whispered.
"Can you help America to his room that he'll be taking while staying with us?"
"Uh, yeah I guess. Follow me." Russia started up the stairs only to stop to wait for America and Canada to get his things.
As they neared him, Russia took the bag from America's grasp. America opened his mouth to protest but shut it immediately. Russia guessed who wasn't really in the mood to talk.
"Here you go, there's a bathroom on the left. I'll hand you the key later." Russia said as he opened the door to a vacant room.
There was a bed in the right corner of the room, it was already well made. There was also a dresser on its side and a study table at the foot of the bed. Facing the side of the bed was a cupboard for clothes.
"Thanks." America forced out. Russia left so he could settle down.
America started unpacking, Canada helping him. It only took a while so by the time Russia returned with the key they were pretty much done.
"Wow, that was quick," Russia commented as he handed the keys to the shorter American.
"Thanks." America nodded.
"America! Canada!" The 2 rushed down to see their parents grabbing their coats to leave. Canada squeezed America in a tight hug, France did the same, Britain only reassured America on last time as they all left.
America watched them go from the porch. He felt a twinge of sadness. He just wanted to go home.
"Have you eaten dinner yet?" America turned around to see a concerned Third.
"Uh, yes sir. Thank you." He replied politely.
"No need for the formalities kid, just call me Third." He laughed as he let the American come in.
"Ah okay then, thanks."
"If you ever need help don't hesitate to ask okay? Also if any of the siblings are bothering you, call me." Third explained, "Ukraine is a beta and Estonia is an Omega so you can also ask them for help."
"Oh okay. Thank you."
"Mama, let him settle down." Russia butted in.
"Fine, fine." Third huffed as he went to wash the cups.
"Thanks, Ruski." Russia nodded happily as he walked with America back to his room.
"So you're an omega now, huh?" Russia started a conversation.
"Yea, I guess."
"What does it feel like?"
"What?"
"Going from beta to omega?"
"... it's weird."
"mhm."
"I don't like it. Lots of weird things are happening to me and I can't keep track of it. My body doesn't even feel like my own. I just can't wrap my head around the fact I'm no longer a beta." America felt his eyes start to burn with tears as he spoke.
"Hey, hey. It's okay, come here." Russia opened his arms to give America a hug.
America accepted it. He let himself sob in Russia's embrace breathing in his scent of smores and alcohol. It slowly calmed him down and his eyes started to grow heavy. Before he knew it he had fallen asleep.
