Cheryl's POV
I woke up about three hours ago, but I didn't feel like getting up yet, so mom happily decided that we should have a movie day together now that I'm going to be home for some time, because that's what my mom does whenever she's worried about me.. She doesn't let me out of her sight, but I don't mind.

I actually appreciate her for being there for me all of the time, no matter what, even though it can become a little suffocating at times.
I know she's just making sure that I'm safe.

"Hmm, what do you think about some food honey?" mom asks, rubbing my back as if it was an reflex.

"Yeah, I'm a little hungry." I agreed, and then we made our way downstairs together to make some pancakes in the kitchen.

And we just talked whilst making pancakes together.

---
An hour later, we were cleaning the dishes, just joking around for a bit until there was a knock on the front door.

"I'll get it." I say, wiping my wet soapy hands on the kitchen towel before making my way out to the hallway where the door was located.

"Yes- Oh, hi TT.." I say nervously whilst looking down in embarrassment, because I couldn't stop thinking about the fact that she saw me completely breaking down yesterday.. It's embarrassing.

"Hey beautiful." she says, and I swear that I can hear the smile in her voice.

"Hey," she carefully tilts my head up, successfully forcing me to come face to face with her, but her beautiful smile made it all worth it.

"you don't have to hide that pretty face Cher." I immediately went flushed, because MY CRUSH IS OPENLY FLIRTING WITH ME!

And I couldn't bring myself to look away from her beautiful eyes, except for the one second I gazed down at her plump lips.. God how badly I just wanted to lean in right then and there.

To feel her lips on mine-

"Who was at the door Cheryl?" my mother's question pull me out of my daydreaming, and I immediately clear my trout when I realized that Toni knew that I was staring at her.. Just to switch the attention off of me.

"It's Toni, mom." I tell her, trying to fight the grin off my face, but to no avail.

"Oh.. What is she doing here?" I could hear the disapproval in her voice, and I still don't understand why she dislikes Toni in the first place. I will have to ask her about it later.

"Mom, be nice, please?" I plead as she comes out into the hallway, and I can see the hesitation in her eyes before she finally gives in.

"Of course honey, I'm sorry Toni. Hello. Were you girls planning on doing something?"

"Uhm.. Not really, I just wanted to make sure that Cheryl was okay." Toni admits nervously, causing both her and I to blush shyly.

"That's nice of you. But if you girls are planning on doing anything, I would appreciate it if you stayed here."

"Of course mom, I'm okay with that." I reassure my mother, smiling sincerely her way, making her smile right back at me.

"Well then, I'll be in my office if you need anything." she says, pecking the top of my head before making her way to her office.

I turn back around to face Toni, who's still standing in the doorway with a shy smile on her face. "Do you want to come in?" I ask, trying to mask my excitement, but obviously I fail.

"Yeah, I would like that." she agrees, so I immediately step aside to let her in, and we make our way up to my bedroom together, just giggling at something Toni said.
