"Are you sure your manager won't get mad?" Sarah asked him, unsure of the thought. Mark shook his head.
"No, he's pretty chill. Plus I kind of owe you. I would probably still be at the subway station if it weren't for you." Mark told her.
"Are you really sure?" Sarah asked again, this time smiling.
"I insist. Come on now." Mark reached out, grabbing her arm as he dragged her to the house.
...
"Hyung, I'm baaaaack." Mark called out as he entered the house. Sarah cautiously followed him, unsure of what to expect. Mark smiled looking back at her, ushering her to enter the house.
A large man wearing all black came down the stairs. He had a stern look on his face.
"Mark freaking Lee, I am never leaving you out of my sight." He said to him, flicking Mark's head. A small giggle escaped Sarah's lip, causing the manager to turn his head towards her. He gave Mark a look.
"You brought a friend too?" The manager said, rolling his eyes. Mark scratched the back of his neck.
"Yeah, this is Sarah. She's actually the reason why I got back here in one piece. Otherwise, I would probably still be stuck at the subway station." Mark explained. The manager waved towards the table.
"Come take a seat. I'm sorry that Mark is such an airhead that you had to deal with him." Mark smiled at her as Sarah sat down at the table where Mark was.
"So Sarah, tell me about yourself." The manager asked, passing the two young adults glasses of water. Sarah thanked him.
"I'm a third year student studying journalism." She told him. His eyebrow raised as he heard her major.
"She's not a sasaeng, hyung. I'm not stupid enough to let a crazy fan in here." Mark said, clearly trying to convince his manager to stop questioning her.
"Well you did get lost on the subway." The manager pointed out, causing Mark to give him a glare. The manager smiled.
"Okay fine whatever, but if I lose my job, your pay check better be mailed to my house." The manager turned to face Sarah.
"So are you hungry?"
...
The three of them had decided to order chipotle. Mark's manager had returned upstairs, allowing the two of them the chat while they waited for the food to arrive. Mark had taken off his hat, comfortably showing Sarah his makeup-less face.
"When do you start school again?" Mark asked the girl. She took out her phone to check the calendar.
"I have a week left." Sarah told him. Mark leaned forward, peeking at her phone. As he caught a glimpse of her wallpaper, he reached out, stealing her phone from her hands to her surprise.
"Oh my gawd, you're a Jaehyun hyung fan?" Mark exclaimed, as Sarah stood up, reaching over the table to grab her phone back.
"Mark give that back!" Sarah called out but the boy just stood up, holding it beyond her reach. Sarah got out of her chair to the other side of the table, jumping as she tried to get her phone back. Mark giggled as he kept her phone away from her. The two were so focused on their little game that they didn't even noticed the doorbell ringing or the manager who came downstairs to pick up the food.
"What are you two doing?" Mark's manager asked them, cause the two to freeze in their positions.
