Newt woke up to the morning sun shining down on his face. He blinked a few times before his eyes adjust to the bright light. For the first time since he got here he woe up feeling happy. He didn't feel tired or sad, no he felt okay. At first he didn't know why but then he started to think about what had happened the night before. He had cried into Thomas' arms and after that they had watched movies all night long and his mum had ordered pizza so all four of them had spent the evening on the couch, watching old but still great films. And Newt hadn't felt like a burden then, Lara, Thomas and Teresa had talked to him like he really was a part of their family and he had started to feel more comforted.
Newt slowly sat up on the bed, it was Saturday and he finally had two days off of school. His leg felt sore but actually a lot better than it used to. He knew why, it still weren't just hurt because of physical things, mentally as well. When he felt bad his leg started to act up. He slowly stood up and limped towards the closet. He grabbed a white hoodie and dark jeans before going in to the bathroom. He ignored the leg brace. He didn't need it today. If he would just be home he wouldn't move much anyways. And home? Was this is home now. Newt turned on the water to the shower and smiled slightly. Yeah, this was his home.

Thomas sat at the table, eating breakfast. A bowl of cereal stood in front of him and he had a half eaten sandwich in his hand. Teresa stood by the counter, eating an apple and drinking a cup of coffee. She had to hurry up because her friend was going to pick her up and drive to the mall in only a few minutes. Lara was sitting in front of Thomas, she was eating cereal as well and her cup of coffee was already almost empty.
"Why are you leaving so early?" Lara asked Teresa.
"We want to be there before everyone else arrived," The dark haired girl answered. "There is a huge sale in one of the store's there and I need a new pair of shoes!"
"Don't you already have like a 100 pairs?" Thomas groaned. Lara laughed and Teresa had just opened her mouth to say something back but then Newt came inside. His hair was wet, indicating that he had taken a shower. He looked a lot better today. A small smile was plastered on his face. He wasn't wearing his leg brace and that made him look much healthier.
"Morning Newt," Teresa said.
"Good morning," Newt answered. He limped forward and sat down next to Thomas. Thomas couldn't help but notice how his injured leg seemed to bend a bit weirder without the support of the leg brace.
"Morning Newtie," Thomas said playfully. Newt smiled brighter at him and Thomas suddenly felt butterflies in his stomach. WHY DID HE FEEL BUTTERFLIES IN HIS STOMACH?
"How are you feeling today?" Lara asked and took another sip of her coffee. Newt looked up at her and bit his lip. "I'm alright," he answered. At first Thomas thought that he had lied but there was an honest tone in Newts voice.
"That's great," Lara said. "What do you want to have for breakfast?" She directed her hand towards all the different foods that stood on the table. Two different kinds of cereal, milk, bread, butter and a hundred kinds of applications. At first Thomas thought that Newt would say that he wasn't hungry as he always did but the blonde haired boy didn't.
"Some cereal," he answered and grabbed the milk. Laras face suddenly lit up in a warm smile and she looked really happy. Thomas suddenly became scared that he had never seen her this happy before.
" So Newt, what do you wanna do today?" Thomas asked. Newt looked up at him, he was pouring the cereal into his already milk filled bowl.
"I don't know," he answered and Thomas swore that the accent hadn't made him blush before.
"I gotta go," Teresa suddenly called out.
"Bye honey!" Lara called out while the dark haired girl disappeared from the kitchen. They heard the front door slam shut a few moments later. Lara had finished her breakfast as this point so she stood up and put the dishes in the sink before leaving the two boys alone.
"I'll be in the study!" She called out before disappearing.
And then there was only the two of them left.
"What do you usually do on the weekends?" Newt asked.
"I mostly stay home, sometimes hang out with friends or go to the mall. Sometimes there could be a party but that's pretty rare," Thomas sighed. He had a pretty boring life. "What about you?"
"I pretty much only stay home," Newt said. "And draw..." he blushed and Thomas could feel himself doing the same. What the fuck was happening to him?"
"So what are we gonna do?" Newt asked and took a spoon full of cereal. He hadn't put much in his bowl but Thomas was glad that he actually were eating something.
" I don't know," Thomas said and took the last bite of his sandwich. " Momi is going away tonight, a work party or something and Teresa is having a sleep over with friends so we'll be alone," he said. "We could just continue watching movies and all that. There's pizza left as well. Would that be fun?"
Newt nodded and smiled "I would love that Tommy," And Thomas swore that he could find when he heard that nickname.

A few minutes after Lara and Teresa had left Thomas got a phone call from Minho.
"Hey!" Thomas said.
"Hey Thomas," Minho said. "Me and Brenda are on our way to your place with three kegs of beer and may or may not some weed so we're gonna have a fun evening bro!"
Before Thomas could say anything else the boy on the other line hung up. Thomas sighed, seems like the night wouldn't be as relaxing as he hoped it would be...
