The hardest thing about being alone is never seeing anyone. Which was why I was surprised to see a man in his early twenties standing in the doorway of the entrance hall. Not many people come to visit. I'm an only child because my parents were killed in a car crash. I was devastated, not only because they were gone, but also I was forced to live with my butler and worst enemy: Kim Seokjin. He was known for being suspected of murdering Min Yoongi, the founder of Willow Tree School of Music, where my future will be determined. I've been homeschooled my whole life... until now. The man who stood before me was oddly familiar, and had a slight build. Personally, I thought he was pretty cute.
He hesitated. "Hey... I-I'm here to drive you to Willow Tree."
He drew in a long and deep breath.
"The limo is waiting outside, Miss Y/N." "Excuse me sir, I was not expecting this form of transportation to be available for my use," I explained hurriedly to the man, " If I could suggest—um, why are you holding on to my wrist?" His hand is so soft... His deep, husky voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Miss, at Willow Tree, your safety is our priority, and besides, I don't want a girl like you to be harmed. The outside world is a dangerous place, you know. I'm Kim Taehyung." A girl like me... I brushed the thought away and followed him as he led me to the front courtyard. Sure enough, the limo, in all of its black and silver glory, was waiting. He paused and stared at me intently. "Is there something wrong, Miss?" Yes, you're too cute for my liking. "No sir, I'm fine," I replied bluntly. "I'm just cold." "Are you sure? It's eighty degrees outside. I have a spare jacket in the limo if you change your mind." He grinned from ear to ear, revealing a boxy smile."No, thank you," I replied and smiled as he opened the door. "Let's go, shall we?" The look Tae gave me was very suspicious. "Yes, but I need to do one last thing."
"Wha-"
The last thing I remembered before being immersed in darkness was his handsome face with a knife....
Oh look, it's Y/N... she's rich. Stay away from her... they say her family's cursed. Stay away... away...
"NO!" I gasped as I shot up from my bed. The nightmares had come again— wait, why am I in a bed... Looking around to observe my surroundings, I realized that I'm in a room, a room with one door. I walked across the room and tried the knob. Locked. Suddenly, I remembered the bobby pin I had put in my hair after my dog, Bo, slept in it. I inserted the bobby pin into the lock. The door was flung open before my very eyes. Tae stood outside leaning on the wall. "Oh! You're awake! How nice!" He grabbed my wrist and dragged me down a hallway, up ten flights of stairs, and stopped in front of a door. We were both breathing heavily. "A-Are you okay?" He asked me.
"Um, no! I was just punched in the gut, put in a bed, dragged everywhere, YEAH, I'M FINE, TAE!" Shoot...
"Well in my eyes, I think that's a true statement, especially since you just called me 'Tae.'"
"OH, SHUT UP!"
"Make me!" He giggled.
I clasped my hand over his mouth and he bit down on it. I hissed in response. "Huh, cute and fiery. " Tae whispered through my hand. I slapped him with my free hand and he brought it to his cheek. "Weirdo," I muttered under my breath. Just take me to Willow Tree." Anything to get away from this overly handsome creep. "Actually, we're already here. In fact, we have a meeting to attend with Kim Namjoon. He took over as the dean after Yoongi was killed. Oh, he was a good man. Always quiet and considerate." Tae sighed in remembrance. "Til that that fateful day. Yoongi was sitting in his office.
"Then Yoongi was gone. That's all I know." Taehyung looked at his Gucci watch. "Oh, she-sus! We're going to be late, especially if I don't drag you. C'mon!" I let him grasp my wrist ever so slightly while "dragging" me down to the end of the corridor. "Um, how do you know all of this information?" I asked him. Winking, he smiled and shook his head. "That's my little secret, cutie."
I knew that Willow Tree was a large school, but I had never seen a room this big in my life! There was a large glass table in the middle of the room with four velvet chairs surrounding it.
Two slender, handsome men were seated in two of them. Anime posters could be seen peeking out from the excessive amount of GUCCI randomly hanging on gold hangers.
"Well, come on in, hyung! Don't just stand there," The young man said. "Is that your girlfriend?" He was sitting at the head of the table drumming a pen as he stared at me inquisitively. With his dyed purple hair, black glasses, and irreplaceable dimples in his cheeks, he looked like the hottest nerd on the planet. "N-no, Namjoon, Y/N is NOT my girlfriend. She's the new student from the mansion on the hilltop." Tae managed to stutter. "Ohh...well, my name is Jung Hoseok." The other man said. He looked like the human embodiment of sunshine. LITERALLY.A/N: I regret writing this sooo much. If anyone wants to help me lower my level of regret and help me edit this, it would be appreciated very much.
Have a good day!
