I fluttered my eyelids for a few seconds before opening them to the blazing sun shining through my window. Nothing could beat the fact that today was the day-
BRINGGGGGGG! I fell off my bed realizing my imparter was ringing. I reluctantly picked it up, to see a dark-haired girl with beautiful teal eyes, that my crush had. I got lost in those eyes, not noticing that Biana was screaming her head off. "SOPHIE!" she yelled, staring at my face " you okay?"
"Umm... yeah Bi, just ya know..." I attempted to come up with an excuse, "I am nervous because today is the last day of school!" The pretty girl nodded not wanting to embarrass me. She just said, "Well, I just called to wake you up." she grinned, "you really need to fix up the birds nest." And with that, we hung up.
I sprinted to my bathroom, to notice the bird's nest Bi was talking about. So, I took a hot, steamy bath, and stepped out to my closet. Wearing my level 6 uniform, I put on my cape and my Ruewen Crest. Now, I just needed to do my hair and makeup. "Hey, Vertina can you help me with makeup and hair? I need to impress Fitz- I mean Biana."
"Yup, sure but you seriously need to confess your feelings before its too late." Sandor snickered from the corner over the fact that Sophie was asking a mirror for help about her love-life. I shot him an "I will kill you one day look" and continued with my makeup. Vertina did a pretty good job with a natural look. She had put on bronze eyeshadow with a bit of mascara and made my lips a natural pink color.
She then studied my face for a minute before doing my hair into a french braid.

I thanked her and bolted out of my room. Grady had made a special last-day of school breakfast, which basically consisted of dessert. " Wow, this looks great Grady" I was awed by the delicious Elvin food. " Where's Edaline?"
"Oh, you know just making a few arrangements for tonight after the graduation!"
On that note, I stuffed my face with most of the mallowmelt and grabbed a few to eat for later. I had completely forgotten about graduation!
Picking up my leaping crystal, I frantically yelled "Foxfire!" With all my strength, I teleported the cafeteria where I would meet my friends. But after walked in, I recognized many decorations and buzzing children. Running out of time, I teleported to the cafeteria where as per usual, I was greeted with a pair of strong arms catching me from hitting the ground. I looked up, beet red, and was welcomed with dreamy teal eyes. I would've melted into goo if Keefe hadn't interrupted, " break it up, love-birds, some of us are trying to live."
I blushed, and looked away, but may have seen Fitz blush too. Does he like me? No, there is no way, perfect Fitz Vacker; whose family was also perfect would like me; a girl with freaky brown eyes who almost died like 50 times. Don't get your hopes up, Sophie.

"Ugg, strop doing the staring into your eyes thing. Or I'll assume you are flirting." Keefe smirked, but I could see the jealousy in his eyes. But on that note, Fitz and I stopped telepathically talking and looked away blushing; me turning crimson and him turning into a tomato.
"Anyways, can you guys come by to Everglen to get ready for the graduation tonight?" Me, Linh, and Marella nodded and Biana skipped to class happily. I went up to my locker and licked the DNA strip, mmm mallowmelt! I grabbed my books for elementalism and sat down in my seat. After a tiring morning of back to back classes, I sat down at lunch, looking weary. " What's wrong?" I jumped at the crisp, accented voice.
"Hey, I'm just really tired of all the morning classes." I tried really hard not to melt into a pile of goo. Fitz just sat down next to me! He and I talked about many things, then landed on the topic telepathy. Just as we did that, the bell rang.
"Wanna walk to class with me?" Fitz asked, blushing, and then saying, "Nevermind, I don't know what I was saying.
"No, I'd love to." I may have said it too quickly and then added, " I mean why not?" Little did I know what telepathy would possibly hold.
A/N yesssss. Done with Chapter 1! 892 words. I really hope you liked that. I tried my best to make it long, so yeah. But comment if you want me to occasionally switch POV's so we can see Fitz's side of things. Also, tell me if you want longer or shorter chapters ( or if this length is fine) I hope to publish chapter 2 by Wednesday. Bye people.
