Even her special boots sound like they've lost all of their oomph, and Annie is just watching her feet drag their way home, when suddenly, she hears a little boy sobbing. He's sitting alone. As Annie walks up to him, she asks why he's crying.

"Do you know where I live?" he asks through his tears.

"No, but I'll help you," she says and leads him to a nearby bus stop bench where they can wait.

It's not very long before a lady with shoes made from every color in the world appears across the street. Quickly, Annie digs through her pocket pouch for her super secret signaling disc. Flashing it wildly at the lady, Annie shouts, "Excuse me, but can you please call the police? This little boy is lost."

The lady looks over and sees a little girl with a pillowcase tucked into the neck of her shirt, flashing a bottle cap at her, and shouting for her to call the police. She hurries over, plops down on the bench beside them, and takes out her phone to call the police.
