Yui's been pretty antsy the entire class, much to the annoyance of the people sitting next to her.

She's been highly alert of Todoroki and his movements ever since she realised that his father is the one who arrested her and cut her happy villain-esque life short. Her life was full of thrills and she felt at home; making connections with clients, laughing at their faces when they realised their plug was so young, or carrying an AK-47 into a bank wearing a rat mask pulled over her entire head. She wasn't necessarily friends with her fellow colleagues, but the collection of farm animals robbing a bank creates a bond like no other.

She tries not to turn around when she hears him scratching out an answer with his pencil. Hyper aware of the half-and-half's inquisitive gaze, Yui shifts uncomfortably in her seat. Perhaps he might be developing a crush, she thinks giddily, but washes that down with forced disgust when she reminds herself that he is literally the son of a bastard.

Meanwhile, Todoroki simply attempts to analyze Yui without her noticing. He doesn't really care about her, as he has seen her struggle during PE. The only thing that catches his attention is that she's quite familiar, and he's not sure on why. His mismatched gaze drills holes into her back, studying her figure in pretty much the most aromantic way possible, achievable only by him.

There is definitely something off about her. His spidey senses are tingling. With one last glance, he vows that he'll get to the bottom of it. People like her have no place here.

Yui walks along the streets, enjoying the feeling of the sun hitting her face. Her school bag hanging limply in her grasp, she simply relishes being free. It's also Friday, so she's expecting Aizawa to get her the Nuudles tonight. She wonders which Pro hero or policeman would look after her this afternoon; hopefully not one as stingy and stinky as the local caterpillar addicted to juice boxes.

She doesn't get to finish that train of thought, because she barely has time to dodge as a massive hand pops out of nowhere and slaps the living shit out of her body, sending her flying into a nearby wall. Her bag is flung way out of her reach. There's a cracking sound, and it takes only a split second of numbness before the pain slashes across her body.

"Home run!" She hears someone cheer. Yui lifts up her head, wiping away something sticky from her vision.

Her attacker is built like a tank with a towering height and bulging muscles. What a good sign for her health. Oh, her hand is red. It's broad daylight, too. She recognises him- Katsukame Rikiya, an underling in the Shie Hassaikai syndicate. He is a noteworthy member with his vitality stealing quirk.

"RIP Yui," she mumbles, staggering to her feet. Her mind is already getting muddled.

If this was a Wattpad fanfiction, her love interest would pop out and fight for her before kissing her poor boo-boos. Unfortunately for Yui, her inability to be able to form emotional attachment normally renders the love interest scenario impossible.

Yui spits out blood, wiping her mouth and standing up. She feels dirty for thinking this, but at this point the heroes are her only hope. She isn't physically strong enough to compete against a villain of this caliber, and she can only hope that the heroes will get to her before irreversible damage is done.

"Yamasaki-chan," he sneers, "how far you've fallen."

"Katsukame darling," she grimaces back, activating her quirk and a butcher knife appears in her hand. He stares at the pathetically blunt kitchen utensil.

"That's so sad I don't even feel like laughing."

"What's the meaning of this? You're ruining the business ties with the Yamasaki," she tells him, face contorting into an intimidating scowl. If her knees weren't shaking and if she wasn't so laughably weak against the Hulk of a man, maybe she'd have a chance.

"You're no longer in the business, hero," he spits back.

Yui prays that the heroes have noticed her unmoving location.

"I'm still a part of the Yamasaki family, stuuuupid."

He lunges and she manages to move out of the way. The wall crumbles and she shrieks.

"Stop it! I don't like it!"

She dodges again, whirling around and attempting to stab him. The knife breaks and she shrieks again. "Stop it!"

"You're so fucking brain dead I almost feel sorry for you," he laughs. "But then again, you betray your family so easily, turning to the heroes just like that. Die, scum."

Yui is very tempted to tell him that she's actually not a hero student. In fact, cowardice is okay here, right? Her life is in danger, so she'd only be trying to protect herself. There's nothing wrong with that.

His massive hands reach out to her, ready to crush her skull like he did with that wall. Her mouth opens to blurt out everything about the mole mission, but before she can say anything, she hears someone scream.

"Yamasaki!"

Katsukame stops in his tracks, giving a dangerous, gutteral growl in annoyance as he sights a policeman sprinting towards the two, rapidly reporting to a phone. Usually, Katsukame would just beat the shit out of both of them, but he's already created enough of a scene, and Boss would probably get really angry.

"It's your lucky day, sweetheart," he coos. "I'll see you around." He gives a mocking pat on her head, satisfied with the fear pooling in her eyes.

Yui drops to the ground as he leaves, as soon as her saviour arrives.

"Thank fuck. I could kiss you," she tells the policeman. Immediately, he begins checkups, looking at her head, hands, anywhere with red.

"Yamasaki! Are you okay?"

She heaves a weary sigh. The sun doesn't feel nice on her face anymore.

"Can we just go home and get Nuudles, please?"
