Ty POV

Day ___ of Quarantine

Governor of Ga is trying to open up Georgia. Dad thinks it's stupid. I wanna get my nails done. And out of this house. The party was short lived and because of that I can't leave the house. At all. If I wanna hang out with the gang, they gotta come to me. And sometimes they do.

Today was a regular-shmegular day until it wasn't. I was on the couch minding my own business when I heard a commotion upstairs. Next thing I know I saw Abigail coming down the steps fast as fuck. She had her duffle bag in her hand. I turned the tv off. Abigail turned to face dad. She pointed at him. "Leave me alone Andre! Don't talk to me, don't call me, don't text me. I want nothing to do with you." She turned and left out the door. Ooo. Dad followed her outside. I crawled off the couch and ran to the door. Dad was pleading with her through the window. She was not going for it. She put the car in reverse and drove off.

Dad stood in the drive way for a while. I watched from the door. Is he gonna move? He eventually turned and came in the house. He looked me in the eye. He looked sad. Damn. I don't really know what to say. He heads upstairs and closes his door softly. That sucks.

For the next few hours I just watch TV and zone out. If I'm being honest, I'm fucking ecstatic that she's gone. I never wanted her here. After a while I realize that I'm a little hungry. I walk up the steps to my dads room. I knock on the door. He shouts for me to come in. When I open the door he's in his bed, crying. Damn his feelings hurt hurt. I look at him and he stares at me. I don't think he's waking up to cook any time soon. I grabbed his phone off the nightstand and called my uncle Antrez. Anthony probably at work. He picked up the phone on the first ring. "Trezzy on the beat!" I rolled my eyes. "Uncle Antrez." His whole tone changed. "Is everything okay? Why you called from Dre phone?" I rolled my eyes again. "Mine got taken. But can you bring dinner? I want tacos." He agreed skeptically. I hung up the phone.

I waited downstairs for Antrez to get here. He came straight in the house. When he walked in I hopped from the couch to him. He has my food and then some. I grabbed it and ran to the island. He followed behind me. I pulled out the tacos and sauce. Antrez leaned over the counter. "What's wrong with that lil boy?" No matter how much time I spend with him, I always think it's funny that Antrez calls dad a little boy. I shrugged. "I think him and Abigail got into it. Well, I know they did. She said she don't want nothing to do with him. Then she left." Antrez looked serious, like he was thinking. I was just-a eating. He nodded and left me. I guess he was going upstairs. I sat at the table and kept eating.

Antrez POV

I'm looking at my niece. That shit crazy. I wonder what happen.  I leave her to eat and head upstairs. I don't bother to knock. I open the door. Dre on his bed just laying there. Hell nawl. I walk over to him. "Dre what happen?" He rolls over on his back. "Trez, I-, she left. I don't even know why. She just got up and started packing. I didn't do anything..." He rolled back over. "Did you cheat or some? Cuz if you did ima have to kick yo ass..." He cut me off with a giggle. I'm dead ass. "No I didn't cheat Antrez. I don't know where this came from." I sat down at the foot of his bed. This finna be a long night.

Ty POV

Man, this taco good as fuck. Celebration food. I'm so happy she's gone. I hope they never see each other ever again. She sucks. I'm convinced she hates me.

Im sitting on my Uncle Anthony's leg. Nana sitting at the table with her mask and gloves on. The most. They all sitting around laughing. I'm not feeling it. Anthony and I are talking amongst ourselves. Antrez started picking at nana. "Moma why you got all that stuff on? We in the house." Nana eyes got big. "Boy I don't know where y'all been. Especially not Ty. She dont what Quarantine is. Partying and sleepovers. Hm." Anthony and everyone else laughed. I feel the need to defend myself. "Uh I ain't been nowhere in days. Somebody won't let me leave." I crossed my arms over my chest. Dad sat up from his seat. "Ty you got arrested. Arrested. You know how I feel about jail..." Antrez cut in, as always. "Shit ain't cool or fun." I rolled my eyes. Dad kept talking. "And every time I let you out the house you find some to get into."
