In the morning Billy woke up without Julia by his side yet again. At first, he questioned if what happened last night actually happened, because with his luck lately, who knew. He got out of bed and threw a shirt on himself and put his slippers on, then headed out to the kitchen for some coffee. When he entered the kitchen, it was just him, Mitchell and Mabel. He had no idea where Julia could've been. "Mitchell, where is she?" he asked.
"Dude seriously calm down. She's in the shower." Mitchell laughed. "So, I hear you're in love?" Billy looked over to his mom who was reading the paper, and nudged Mitchell and gave a hushing motion. Then he walked into the living room and sat down on the couch while Mitchell followed. "Now will you tell me?"
"First off, mom doesn't know that I knew her before last night, so she can't hear that, okay?" Mitchell didn't answer, he just kept waiting for Billy to say if he loved Julia or not. "Second off, yes. I do love her."
"I knew it!"
"Hey, keep it down though, seriously."
"I have to ask you though, because I'm such a caring brother. Is she a rebound?"
"Absolutely not!"
"Okay, well just be careful. She may not be a rebound, but who knows if she'll hurt you the same way that Amanda did. I can't watch you go through that again."
"I know." Billy said shortly.
"Don't be afraid of being alone, I'm always here."
"Mitchell, I know." Billy said in an irritated tone. It was then when the bathroom door opened, and Julia had come out. Julia and Billy made eye contact which caused them both to smile. She came and sat down next to him.
"Why do you always look at me like that?" she asked.
"Like what?"
"Like the way you are looking at me right now."
"Because you're absolutely gorgeous and I can't help it." He said and she nudged him playfully.
"Oh, stop it." She laughed.
"I'm serious, you're gorgeous."
"Okay you two, get a room." Budded in Mitchell.
