LOSING HOPE

Barry's POV:

"I can't do that anymore Barry, I'm sorry. So or you are leaving with me, Wally and my dad or staying there, alone. This is your choice but I'm done."

I sighed. We just learned the death of Cisco and other people. Iris was tired of all of this and also scared. I don't want to leave Caitlin but I was tired too.

"I'm coming with you."

"Good. I will prepare our baggages and reserve our airplane."

"You know that I have superhuman speed right ?"

"I know that but we all prefere having a normal trip."

"Okay."

"Thank you."

Iris kissed me and she went into the bedroom.

I was just paralysed. Julian was dead, Cisco was dead and now I am just leaving not trying to have revenge, not trying to help Caitlin or to catch Killer Frost. That's not me. The real me will do everything that he can to save her but now I am just sitting on my sofa, organizing my escape.

I stood up and I noticed that the kitchen was colder than before. I looked at the thermostat and it displayed 62,7 degrees fahrenheit.

"Oh my god... Iris ?!"

I went to the bedroom looking for Iris because I was undersatnding what was happening.

"Iris ! Please tell me that you are okay ?! I..."

I stopped running when I entered into the room. 

"Hello Flash ? How are you ? All of this situation has an effect of deja-vu isn't it ?"

Killer frost was holding Iris in her arm, an icicle behind her back, just like Savitar was months before. I started to move for stopping her but she saw me and she acted before I could. She froze my legs to the floor and I couldn't move anymore.

"Please ! Don't do this ! I'm begging you."

I started to cry and Iris too. She was terrified and I could saw the pain of what was going to happened in her eyes.

"Big crocodile tears are here again. Long time no see."

"Please, Caitlin I now that you are still in there. You can stop this if you want to. She is the love of my life, please come back."

I sluttered and I looked at her into the eyes trying to make Caitlin back. I know that she is still in there but first I need her to release Iris.

"That is so cute. You, begging for me not to kill her while you can't do anything. One of my favorite moment. But the first is Cisco dying alone in that train."

"You could just have let him go. He surrender."

While saying that I tried to phase for leaving the ice in my legs but it didn't work. I can just save Iris with my words.

"I'm gonna confess. He make me feel pain and then Caitlin took control. She was there, looking at him, dying because of her and then I came back."

"So she's still there, right ?"

"Yeah like I said to Franscisco, she has been there all the time. Looking and regretting everything that happened because of her."

"So you're going to listen to me. Caitlin none of this is your fault, this is what you need to understand for coming back, for taking control."

"She is too weak for taking control Barry. Don't you understand, I will kill all of you for what having my revenge on what you did to me."

"What did we do to you ?"

"You feared me and you abandonned Caitlin, and for that the love of your life will die, just like she should have died months ago. Any last words to say to your great love ?"

"I will save you Iris, I promise you. Caitlin stop, please."

"I love you Barry."

"I love you too Iris but this isn't the end."

"I'm sorry to say that but it is."

And then time stopped. Killer Frost stabbed her in the heart and I felt my world collapsed.

"NOOOOOOO !"

I yelled and I saw Killer Frost looking at me with a big smile on his lips.

"I will kill you !"

"Is it a threat ?"

"No, it's a promise."

"Can't wait for it. Bring the father and the brother of the dead girl to the party too."

She threw an icicle to my legs which destroyed the ice. She went away and I took Iris in my arms.

She wasn't breathing and me either.

"I love you, I always will."

I hugged her for so long and suddenly, I heard a noise. The noise of the door. I approached the door and suddenly I saw Wally and Joe who were in the living room.

"Oh you're here Barry. We called you. You didn't heard ?" Began Wally and then he stopped.

"What happened, Son ?" Said Joe.

I couldn't answer. I was the one who was saying to everyone that we could have still hope on Killer Frost and now I was on the living room with them with Iris who is dead in my bedroom.

Wally ran from where I was coming, the bedroom and I saw him stop walking and then Joe went to the bedroom too. They started crying and Wally approached me :

"She did that right ? That bitch did that ? She murdered my sister ? Your wife and you couldn't even protect her ?!"

I looked at him but I hadn't have an answer.

"I WILL KILL HER !"

He started to run away and I took his arm.

"You can't do this Wally. You can't kill someone."

"You killed so many people and I can't even kill someone who is the murderer of my sister ?"

"I never kill anyone."

"Come on ! You're killing everyone because of that Flashpoint. Caitlin, Julian, Cisco and now Iris. I wish that Eddie was still alive and that my sister would have married him not you !"

I stepped back and I let him go. I looked at Joe and I opened my mouth for talking to him but he stopped me :

"Don't say anything. You have made a choice Barry, 1 year ago and now everyone is suffering because of it. I won't be in your side now but you can still changing things. It is your choice. You have our lives in your hands."

And Joe went out the apartment.
