We were driving down the highway headed back home. Jason was at the wheel eyes dead set on the road not even flinching. Stephanie sat across from in the back seat leaning against the door her feet on the hump of the car.

"You could get hurt," I pointed out referring to her lack of seatbelt preventing her from flying out of the car if anything were to happen.

"You forget I'm not fully human, the animal side of me has nine lives."

"Cat's have nine lives, wolves are canines not felines" she rolled her eyes "potato pot-oa-toh."

She sat up straight and began to orate her plan, "first you say goodbye to your family and friends just in case this doesn't work." She laughed and winked, I gulped, Jason didn't take his eyes of the road.

"Then you get ready to tell Caleb why you would be an asset to his pack. Caleb is an alpha; he is always trying to expand his pack with wolves that he believes will keep him safe. It's not an easy thing to get into his pack, he has a sixth sense as if he knows if you are genuine or not. If you aren't then we all know what will happen."

 "He'll kill me"

"See the thing about Caleb is that he won't kill you because he wants to but because you want him to. He has a way of torturing you to the point where you would gladly take a bullet to the head." She smirked as if telling me this amused her in some way."

"But how do I show him I genuinely want to be a part of his pack?"

"To Caleb genuity comes in one form, loyalty"

 "How?"

She inched closer "we're going to be in Badica forest on a full moon, after the recent attacks the forest is going to be crawling with hunters. To be truly loyal to someone, you have to be ready to go to all measures, to do everything in your power for them including kill."

My throat went dry "I have to kill someone?" I croaked.

She shrugged "nothing knew to you hat trick".

"Stephanie" Jason said firmly, the first word he'd uttered since getting into the car.

"Sorry, totally uncalled for" she apologized, "besides all three weren't even in one night so technically it wasn't a hat trick."

"Stephanie" Jason repeated.

"Fine fine no more jokes, that sucks though I had a really good ripper one coming up."

"Oh good grief" Jason sighed pulling up at the motel I had stayed in.

The person at the front desk was the same person who had checked me in the last time. A smile played on his lips "I see you're back" he handed me a key as Jason walked in "threesome, nice" I snatched the key from his hand and glared.

"I would like a room please" Stephanie said," I already gave him the key" the guy replied. Jason and I began to walk away "I'm not with them" Stephanie took her keys and followed behind us. I took a glance over my shoulder, he stood there standing agape, I smiled to myself and mouthed, "it's not like that."

I paced impatiently around the room going through the events that had taken place over the last month.

1.    I was bit by a mythical creature and began to turn into said creature.

2.    I killed three people.

3.    The love of my life had slept with my brother (possibly not fact)

4.    I had been kidnapped and told I was possibly going to die in a few weeks.

5.    I trained and learned to fight and was now on my way to plead for my life to my possible murderer by murdering another person.
