Part 2: The A-Wake a Thon

Noah's POV

After we had all eaten all that we could eat Chris came over and announced "It's time for the A-Wake a Thon" "The what A-Thon?"Owen asked "This is an easy one the team wiv the last person standing wins invincibility" Chris continued "So what you're saying is the 20k run and the turkey eating frenzy was just a part of your plan to make it harder for us to stay awake?" Gwen asked as a rhetorical question. "That's right Gwen!" Chris proclaimed "Man he's good" Gwen said thinking out loud. "move move move!" Chris shouted into the megaphone. Everyone including me left the mess hall and walked to the campfire.

2 hours later
After 2 hours Owen was what looked like dancing around the campfire "woohoo staying awake for 24 hours I could do that in my sleep WOOHOO!" He then stood there for a couple of seconds then went out cold. Heather,Lindsay and Beth walked to a more private place where no one could hear them. My thoughts is that they are planning some alliance which isn't a bad idea. Although I'm not the best at making friends so my bets are slim to none.

22 hours later
"Congratulations campers you all made it to the 24 hour mark" Chris announced. I was quite pleased with myself that I made it to the 24 hour mark it was quite the accomplishment. "Now we're going to spice it up a notch" He continued. This guy cannot be serious right now he must be joking. Right? Chris starting reading a fairytale and that's all I remember I must've fallen asleep while hearing him read the book.

61 hours later
I woke up to feel my lips kissing this smooth part of someone's skin. I opened my eyes and saw that it was Cody. "AHHHHHHHH" I screamed waking up Cody "AHHHHHHHH" He screamed with me in unison. We both screamed in each other's faces then ran off in different directions. I was so embarrassed how could I possibly do that. In front of everyone still awake as well ugh why am I so stupid? After Gwen begged Chris to hook her up with some coffee. Chris said for us to take a shower while the others stayed with him.

After Chris told us to take a shower I headed back to the dorm and grabbed my pyjamas and my towel then headed off to the showers. I bumped into Cody when I was walking out of the dorm.
"O-Oh h-hi" Cody said trying to get the words out of his mouth. "U-uh hi" I said back. "Listen dude I'm sorry for earlier" Cody apologised. "No,no dude it should be me apologising sorry I did that" I said "No hard feelings?" Cody asked "Sure no hard feelings" I said. He smiled opening his gap tooth. "Well I better get going ha" Cody said "Yeah sure" I said. I walked past Cody and headed off to the showers.

After I had showered I went back to the dorm with my pyjamas on. Cody, Trent, Owen and Justin were there. "Hey dude!" Owen welcomed me "Hey" I said "Rough challenge huh?" Owen asked "Yeah big man" I said. Owen giggled. Nobody ever laughs at my jokes it felt good knowing that I could at least make one person laugh. "Yo dudes have you seen my towel anywhere?" Trent asked "No sorry bro" Owen said "Nah sorry dude" Cody said. Justin shook his head. "No sorry" I said. "Oh ok it's fine I'll just get a new one" Trent said. "Yo dudes we should all play a game or something when all of us clean ourselves up" Owen suggested "Yeah sure I'd be down for that" Trent said "Yeah I'm down" Cody said. Justin didn't respond he was too "busy" putting his face mask on. "Yeah sure could be fun" I said. "Ok I've got to go shower I'll see you guys after" Trent said "Yeah same see you guys later" Cody said. They both grabbed their stuff leaving the dorm.

I then laid in my bed and read my book in my pyjamas. And waited for the boys to come back leaving me with Owen. "Yo dude what ya reading" he asked "How to win a reality tv show" I said sarcastically "Woah I bet that comes in handy can I borrow it some time" He asked not knowing I was being sarcastic. "It's not actually a book about how to win a reality tv show genius" I said in a snarky tone. "Oh what are you reading then?" He asked in confusion. "I'm reading 'What is life' by Erwin Schroedinger" I said. Owen looked at me and said "Woah that sounds like a long and boring book" He said "Thanks" I said in a sarcastic tone "No no I didn't mean that in a bad way I mean you're probably really smart" Owen said "Probably?" I asked in a snarky tone but not being mean about it. Owen got the joke and laughed again. "Well I'm gonna head over to the showers see you later buddy" Owen said. "Bye" I said.
