It's the next day btw

Noah's POV

I woke up realising the time. I had slept in. That meant I could go see Cody earlier. I rushed out of my bed. I grabbed my stuff and ran into the bathroom. I put all my stuff down on the sink counter. I then got undressed then went in the shower turning it on. I cleaned my hair as well as my body. I wanted to smell good as much as I wanted to look good. After I had cleaned myself I grabbed my towel and dried myself. I checked my phone as soon as I got out of the shower. I had had 3 new messages. 1 from an unknown number which was probably the nurse. One from DJ and another one from Cody.

Messages:

DJ: hey bookworm ;). The nurse texted me saying that Cody can come out of the infirmary today. What time do you want to go see him? Me and the guys are going to the pool area if you guys want to come? Just text me what time you wanna go :)

N: hey Deej. Oh ok I thought the unknown number would be her. I'm almost dressed so I'll come to your room once I get dressed. What's ur room number?

DJ: I'm 5 rooms to the right from you. Ok see ya then

N: bye

Nurse: Hi Mr Estereca patient Cody Anderson is allowed to come out of the hospital today. I just need to run some quick checks on him and he should be good to go. Try and take it easy though maybe not go in the pool for around 2 days just to be safe.

N: ok thank you. DJ and I will be there in around 20 minutes.

C: hey uhm listen I'm really sorry about what happened. I'm so sorry if I made you worried I didn't mean too. Anyways once you have a near death experience your life flashes right in front of your eyes. That made me realise that uhm. I like you Noah like a lot. We haven't been on a date since the fair and that didn't turn out well. So I'm taking you on a date tonight. I made a special arrangement. We'll talk about it later. I can't wait to see you bookworm ;):)

N: hey Geek. meh it's ok I was just chilling in the bedroom anyway. It's not like I helped you up to the infirmary or anything. In case you couldn't tell that was sarcasm. Wow not surprised I mean look at me. Jk jk. I like you a lot too Geek. Seems like a date I'll see you in 5 hours dork

C: 5 hours but I can come out now

N: one. word. sarcasm!

C: oh right aha when are you coming up then

N: don't worry Geek we'll be up in 20 mins

C: ok cya then bookworm

N: bye geek

Back to reality:

I wrapped my towel around my waist then unlocked the bathroom door and walked out. I closed the curtains then got changed into my usual outfit. It took me around 10 minutes to get ready and mess with my hair to make it into the sane hairdo as always. Once I did that I took my key card then left my room.

Messages:

N: I just left the hotel room now.

DJ: alright cya in a sec

N: We just left now dork

C: k bookworm cya in a bit

Back to reality:

I knocked on DJ's hotel room door. The door opened and DJ walked out closing the door behind him. "Yo man what's up?" The brick house asked. "Nothing much. You good?" I asked curiously. "Yeah I'm just thinking about stuff" brick house confessed. "What stuff exactly?" I asked again even more curious. "Well I think I might be catching feelings for someone. You know them." Brick house admitted. "Oooooo who's the lucky gu-" "I like Geoff!" Lover boy blurted out. "Woah ho ho Mr. Details now!" I demanded to know the gossip. What? I like gossip ok? "Well it's nothing really. We were just playing by the pool we were going to canonball into the pool when he tripped. Then he pushed me making us both land on the floor. We were there for around 5 seconds until he got up. Then that's when I realised I liked him. But it's no use he likes Bridgette and I would never like to put any pressure on them by telling them I like Geoff" He detailed. "You're adorable sometimes ya know that mama's boy" I nudged. "Oh yeah?" DJ playfully pushed. "Yeah" I said nudging him again. We both chucked then got in the elevator.

"So how are you and Cody doing man?" Mama's boy asked. "We're ok. We are having this boyfriend trial that went just brilliantly" DJ laughed at my sarcastic comment. "Aww man that sucks. Oh well at least you'll see him now." Mama's boy patted my back in simpathy.(did you get the pun. No. Ok I'll shut up now.) The elevator then came to a stop. We both walked out walking to the end of the hallway where the infirmary was. We opened the door to see Cody getting his shoes on. He must have been listening for our footsteps. Geek. (*cough* simp *cough* I'm sorry.) "Your prince has arrived" I bowed. "A pretty shit prince to me" Cody so pleasantly declared. "Oh thanks. I'll remember that." I stated. The little gap toothed geek tied his shoelaces then got up. "Right i'm ready let's go" Th gap toothed kid whined. "Ok ok sheesh don't need to nag we're going" DJ confirmed. We all left the infirmary then went in the elevator. We pushed the button then went downstairs.

We went into the restaurant and ate our food. I told Cody he couldn't go in the pool for two days before we went in the restaurant. "Noah?" "Yeah" I answered. "Can I stay in your room tonight?" Cody asked. "Of course" We both left and said goodbye to DJ heading up to my room. I pushed the elevator button and went upstairs. As the elevator came to a stop we walked to my hotel room and opened the door. Cody jumped on the bed and immediately started watching TV. I read my book as he continued watching TV and started to lean on my legs. "Comfortable there?" I asked. "Very" Cody said snuggling in.

6 hours later

"Right I'm going to bed" I said. "Alright I'll go in after you" Cody grunted. I went in the bathroom and grabbed my pyjamas. I brushed my teeth then put my pyjamas on. As I came out of the bathroom Cody went in and did the same. I then wrapped myself with the duvet. Cody went under the duvet and snuggled up to me. Wrapping his arms around my waist still. I faced him and he was facing me. I closed my eyes and let my nose touch his. We then fell asleep. Arms wrapped around each other.

Why do I love this geek so much. HOLY CRAP I LOVE CODY!
