My Doubts Are My Flaws

I'm so sorry if this chapter makes no sense I only checked what scenery they were in and the concept. Also I don't know if last chapter was different but this chapter is going to be held 1 day before the final episode of TDI

Noah's POV

I'm not ready. I'm not ready to put all my career and hard work in school behind me to date this geek. I love him I really do. This is the only time I've felt like this but I can't do this anymore. I can't dedicate myself to dating. I've got way more things to worry about like college, getting a new job. If I'm dating Cody then it's most likely that he would want to spend lots of time with me. But because of where we both live and what time of our lives it is now I don't think we can pull through. Most long distance relationships get crushed and at least one of the people in that relationship are upset and I'm not willing to put either of us up with that.

"I can't do this. I'm sorry guys but I'm gonna go back to my room for a few. I'll text you later... Maybe" I said as I quickly walked out of the restaurant. I pressed the elevator button knowing what might happen in the next couple of hours. Then there he was coming out of the elevator. It was Cody. "Oh hi Noah. How's it going?" The little geek looked at me and gave one of the cutest smiles yet. "C-Can't talk now see ya" I said basically pushing him out of the elevator. I spammed the elevator button to go up to my room's floor.

I know he must be concerned right now but nows not the time to think about that. I need to think on how I'm gonna spend my last days with him. Tomorrow is the last time I will ever see him. This means I'm gonna make the most of the time we have here now. I now it seems clingy but I don't care this loving little dork is the only good thing that came out of this show. Yeah sure I have Geoff, DJ, Duncan and some more friends but Cody's definitely the best thing. It's time for me to repay the favour. I'm gonna make this date our best date ever.

I started to text the boys.

Group Chat: You, DJ, Duncan, Geoff, Trent

You: Hi guys. Sorry for ditching you all earlier except for you Trent. But can you guys please come up to my room I need to talk to all of you. I have some arrangements that I want to go over with you guys.

Duncan: Sure dork we'll be up in a few

Trent: Cool I'll be on my way now

Back to Noah

Great just wait until Cody realises what I have planned. Oh I should probably tell him about tonight.

Texts

You: Hey sorry about earlier. Since it's our last day I want to repay the favour. When you set up that date it's my turn to repay you

Cody: oh it's no problem! And sure I can't wait! Where are we going?

You: You'll see just come to my room by 5 tonight

Cody: ok see you later

You: bye

Back to Noah

Great now I just need to wait until the boys get her-.

*Knock Knock*

"We're coming in" Geoff beamed. They all came through the door. "Hey so I'm planning on setting up one of the best dates for Cody and I wanted ideas. More specifically from DJ and Trent because they are the lovermen here but Geoff and Duncan you can obviously suggest stuff as well" I explained. "Cool. So I suggest you do something casual but personal. Like take him for food in the restaurant and make him all of his favourite meals. I can help cook"DJ suggested. "That sounds good. Trent what about you?" I asked. "Well dude Cody loves it when it comes to details so why don't you get him something that he loves like a gift" Trent suggested. "Hey I'd just like to say I know I'm not the best at this crap but. Cody did mention to me back on the island that he would love it if he had someone to cuddle with and be able to talk to. So maybe once you've had food you could go to your room and you guys could do whatever you wanted in there and just chill." Duncan suggested. "Not bad delinquent. I like it"

We spent the next hour planning on what the date will be like.

Time warp to 4:30

It's 30 minutes before Cody's supposed to be here I need to get ready. I put on my suit and laid my pyjamas ready for when we come to my apartment. I should probably let him know that he needs to bring pyjamas.

Texts

You: hey bring some pyjamas with you we're having a sleepover

Cody: OH YAY I'M SO EXCITED

Back to Noah

I got my usual suit and replaced it instead of the usual clothes. I then started to tie my shoes then brushed my teeth. I don't want my breath smelling gross.

20 minutes later

*Knock Knock*

"No go away" I responded. "Awh Noah dont be such a tease" Cody whined. I opened the door in front of me was the boy in the cutest suit holding some folded pyjamas. "Oh hi geek" I said. "Hi!" He beamed without even taking into consideration that I just insulted him. I took the pyjamas off him and placed them on the bed then left the room. "Come on we're going downstairs." "Okay" Cody responded. I took his hand and intertwined my fingers between his and pressed the elevator button.

The elevator door opened as we reached the bottom floor. Our hands were still holding one another as we walked to the restaurant. Trent was waiting outside the restaurant. "Good evening. Right this way gentleman" Trent greeted. Cody looked at me and smiled. Trent guided us to our table. Here are the menu's. Cody took one of the menu's and scanned it. "Wow these are my favourites! Thank you Noah" The geek gushed. "Yeah yeah now pick what you want" I muttered.

After we had ordered and talked for a while our food arrived.

I had ramen because I wasn't feeling that fancy today but Cody had fish & chips. Maybe it's just that day I guess. "Hey Noah thanks for setting this up the food looks delish" Cody thanked. "No problem. I mean this is our final evening we get to see each other so I wanted to make the most of it" I said. He smiled at me then continued to eat his food as well as me.

After we ate our food I decided now was the time. "Hey Cody I got you something you might want it for later" I handed him a pack of chocolate digestives which were his favourite snack. "Oh Noah you didn't have to but thanks!" He thanked giving me cute eyes.

After a bit more talk we both stood up and left the restaurant thanking and waving our goodbyes to Trent and DJ whom helped with the food. We walked to the elevator once again holding each other's hand. Cody pressed the elevator button and it started to go up.

"So what are we doing now No-No?" The geek asked. "Firstly never say that again. Secondly you'll see in a minute" I said as the elevator door opened and we both walked to my room. I unlocked my door and we headed inside. "I know that these suits are not the most comfortable so I decided we could just chill and cuddle in our pyjamas." I said as I rubbed the back of my neck. Cody embraced me in a hug. "Thank you Noah I've never had someone I could do this with before and I'm so glad I get to do this with you you're the best!" Once that little geek said that it makes me ache knowing what I'll have to do tomorrow.

We both got out of our suits I went into the bathroom obviously and changed into our pyjamas. Once I came out Cody was already making himself at home snuggling himself under the blankets on the bed. I decided to join him. He tilted to his side facing towards me. I wrapped my arms around his skinny waist. "Noah?" "Yeah" I responded. "I love you" Cody confessed. "I love you too" I replied. I do I do love him but for both of our sakes I need to put my feelings behind me after tonight and that kills me.

We ended up talking for a while then Cody fell asleep in my arms with his head tucked into my chest. This little dork my hearts gonna ache tomorrow when I break up with him.

That's right. I'm breaking up with Cody

Hey guys it's been some time I know aha. I am once again apologising for not writing for like 3 months? I'm so sorry school's tough work and I have an edits account which I've been making my second priority to school so unfortunately this book has been put on hold for quite a while.
