The Sudden Realisation

I'm really sorry this is a short chapter but I have some plans for the next chapter!!
Noah's POV
I woke up to one of the most irritating sounds ever my alarm clock. I tried to stop the alarm clock without looking because I was just too tired. After guiding my hand to the alarm clock I stopped it and managed to rustle out of bed. I walked into the bathroom and turned the shower on. Without realising I forgot my towel and clothes so I went back to get them when I heard a knock on the door.

"Yo dude we're all going to breakfast in 20. Be there it's important!" I heard a voice that sounded almost like Duncan's shout through the door. "Ok see you then" I responded as I then locked the bathroom door and walked in the shower. After I cleaned myself I did my normal routine then headed out my room. I walked down the hallway pressed the button and made my way downstairs.

I walked out of the elevator and saw Geoff,Duncan and DJ standing by the entrance to the restaurant. "Yo what's up man" DJ greeted. "Meh the usual" I responded in my usual typical voice. Once we all said hi to each other and more small talk we headed into the restaurant.

"So uhm how come Trent and Cody aren't here?" I questioned the three males. "Lover boys aren't coming. I'll go more into detail once we get to our table" Duncan whispered. Multiple people were in the restaurant so I guess I get why they would want to wait. Once we piled food onto our plates we walked and sat on a different table than the table we usually sat on.

"So whats the reason Trent and Cody aren't here?" I asked for the second time. "Well dude we know that you have been Cody are dating. So we just wanted to give you a heads up." Geoff begun to announce. "Go on" I continued. "Well in a couple of days Cody is going to see Gwen and we're just worried that things will heat up between the pair of you" DJ continued to announce. "Psht. Not like I care I don't need to be involved with your nerdy love life. But still you saw Cody on that island he hit on that chick hundreds of times!" Duncan exclaimed. That's right I never really thought about it. I mean Cody and I live quite far away from each other. Long distance relationships are almost impossible to work. Plus Cody probably still has his stupid eyes on Gwen.

"Actually now that I think about it we haven't even discussed about what will happen after we get off the island." I figured. "Bro I'm gonna be straight with you if you guys wanna make it work then you could definitely do it. Not trying to break you two up or anything like that. But personally do you believe it will work out?" Geoff stated.

Am I willing to put my heart on the line for Cody

Am I willing to make a long distance relationship work?

Do I believe it will work out?

I hated realising this but I doubt it will actually work out. Sure I like Cody and his amazing features like his eyes that sparkle whenever the sun shines on his eyes or his round face that looks slightly demented but in a cute kind of way. I don't want to be in a relationship that I don't believe in. This is stupid. Why does it even matter. If Cody and I are meant for each other then we will surely cross paths again. Or will we? Ugh for god sake Noah do you ever just shut up and not think of all the possibilities in w situation god. No wonder no one cares about you back home. You get bullied because you're just the gay nerd. Whatever I'm so done with this crap. Then that's when I questioned myself again.

Do I believe it will work out?

"I'm not ready"

Hi guys Author here I'm really sorry this is the shortest chapter I've ever written. I'm feeling a little bit better in my life right now and writing just seems like a hassle. I don't know if I'm passionate about it anymore which makes me quite upset. Don't worry I don't think I'm going to discontinue this because we've come this far I want to complete it. Anyways thank you all so much for 8K reads this is so amazing. I know I don't write regularly which I know is extremely annoying but school has started again and I have to make schedules and stuff and it's just all really hectic atm.
