I hear the tension in your voice, I can feel your passion. There are beads of sweat forming as our bodies merge. Dirty dance and muscular contractions, we both know how it feels to long for the closeness.

If there are words to bridge the distance then I am at a loss, so can we make a deal? We come from a different ground, both stuck our feet out to chance and our emotions deepened.

The truth that had been submerged was revealed as it seeped into the quiet quiet, the time when we both were spent.

The quiet quiet, when we lingered on what we meant. There is no better time to discover the code that heals any crime, along our shared road.

The quiet quiet, it is haunting us. The quiet quiet, lies still and collects dust. There are no more hugs and no more times to hold─your touch is now a sweet memory. Why do I feel so cold?

The quiet quiet has been told.

Chapter 10: Stitched To My Soul

Claris woke up from her forced rest and thought of her father. She sensed that when she had been lying down on Mother Earth's underground soil, she could feel his presence. She believed that her father's voice and his life force rose up from Mother Earth's core in the form of vibrations and entered into her bones, filling her up with a song of the reunification of the OverStrata and UnderStrata tribes.

So she sang to herself these words from her most recent dreams:

Your morning dew is like a mist on my exposed arms, borne by the summer wind, embracing me, carrying me, refreshing and soothing as a gentle cool breeze in the burning desire of my existence.

Space opens up just beyond forever, this is where you carry me because you are that summer force, the field where dreams are realized.

Grey skies surround my path but your strength leads me, paints my path into the pale blue horizon of beyond.

Stitched to my heart is an emblem of your grace and a smile that can open the gates of heaven to reveal the secrets of eternity.

Stitched to my soul, glued tight to last, all it takes is a thought and I am with you.

"Hey there. My name is Sabis. Who are you?"

"I am Claris of the UnderStrata. Thank you for saving me Sabis. Some eight-legged spiny creature bit my palm and then I had to sit down. After that, I passed out."

Her eyes twinkled with a few more tears as she looked upon his youthful face with wonder and adoration.

"Claris, I found you lying here by yourself. I lifted you to a sitting position then gave you some of the seawater to drink for that's all that I had."

"Well, whatever was in that water certainly helped. I feel strong and ready to get going. Thank you, Sabis."

He smiled but in the dim light she could not see his cheeks blush. "I'm so glad that I could help you, Claris. Where should we go? I was tasked to find a cure for the warrior affliction."

Claris nodded in agreement. "So was I, Sabis."

Then Sabis knew that his future lay beyond the sky, beyond the mountain ranges, and beyond the ocean. His horizon lay ahead with her.

"Claris, I think we should continue underground until we find the cure for our tribe. When we do find it, then we should bring it back to our home caves. But for now, we should stay together."
