"Jesus fucking christ, I hate this thing," Gavin exclaimed, trying his damnest to get his dress shirt button to button. He was currently in the precinct's bathroom, trying to get on the suit that he rented for the Ainsworth party that apparently he, Conan, Hank, and Connor were going to "sneak" in.

Gavin finally managed to slip the finale button into its eyelet, "Thank fucking finally." He put on his suit jacket and walked out of the stall. He took a moment to look at himself in the bathroom mirror. He was wearing a deep black suit jacket with a white dress shirt underneath. His dress pants matched the color of his suit jacket and his shoes were surprisingly well polished. His hair was combed back a bit to the side, so the usual hairs that fell in front of his face had been pulled back. He no longer looked like a disheveled cop, now he was a corporate businessman, ready to attend "businessman like parties" or whatever the fuck they do. He began to tie his tie around his neck and then realized he had no idea how to tie a tie.

On the opposite side of the bathroom, a stall door creaked open, startling Gavin as he almost forgot there was someone else in the room. Conan walked out, dressed in a form-fitting crisp white suit. Underneath the suit jacket, he wore a midnight black dress shirt and tie. The ensemble was finished off with a pair of simple black dress shoes. His outfit suited him well, the colors of the suit complementing his blue-grey eyes and his black hair. He looked quite attractive.

Well, at least to Gavin he did, for a split second as a light blush crept up on his cheeks. He quickly turned away from Conan, attempting to hide his blush. He couldn't believe that he was blushing over an android, he felt ridiculous. He faced back towards the mirror, attempting to finish tying his tie, still having trouble.

"Detective, would you like some help." Conan offered, seeing how aggravated the detective was becoming.

"No." Gavin snarked, trying once again to do his tie and making it look more like a bowtie than a tie. He sighed, giving up and dropped his hands down to his waist, "Yes."

Conan approached Gavin, grabbing him by his tie, beginning to untie the knot. He was taller than him by an entire head so he had to look down at Gavin, face blank as usual. He was also standing uncomfortably close to Gavin, making the smaller man blush even harder. "The fuck!" Gavin thought to himself, trying to control his emotions. Conan had finished tying Gavin's tie into a perfect knot and took a step back from him.

"You look very good Detective Reed." Conan complimented.

"Thanks... so do you tin can," Gavin mumbled, head hung low as he was still flustered by what just happened.

Conan was surprised by the detective's compliment. The man was always so rude and aggressive towards him. In fact, he could hardly stand the man at times. But seeing the softer side of Gavin was, quite nice. He wished Gavin acted like this more often.

Gavin glanced back up at Conan and noticed the light glow of his LED shining from his temple, "Umm, you probably are going to want to hide your LED. Since... you know, it's an android homicide case."

Conan reached up and touched the LED that was embedded into his skin, "Right." He looked hesitant, his LED glowing yellow. "Do you have anything I could use to pry it off Detective Reed?" He asked, looking at his LED in the mirror.

"Are you sure? Isn't there another way to hide it?" Gavin questioned.

Conan nodded, "It would be too difficult to cover up now. Additionally, I wouldn't want to risk the case or ourselves over my own discomfort."

"Alright," Gavin replied simply and reached into his suit pocket and pulled out a gray swiss army knife. Gavin had just used it to file down his nails. He handed it over to Conan. "Here ya go."
