Chapter 27

Elena returned back to the safe house after two weeks. Her and baby Sienna were doing just fine and we all helped out with her but I couldn't help but think of Armani these last few weeks. I've been missing him more and more everyday and couldn't help but feel like something was wrong. Each day it became harder for me to just get out of bed.

"Amalia." Elena called me.

"Yes?" I asked.

"I'm going to take a nap. Sienna is sleeping as well but if she wakes up do you mind giving her a bottle."

"Of course not." I say.

Elena was such a good mother but it was also so exhausting for her so while she took naps I watched over Sienna. Bella was currently sleeping as well and I was the only one up.

I had been sipping tea while drawing random things in a notebook. I was getting ready to head to bed myself when I saw a flash come from the one window that was by the front door. I peeped out the blinds and saw that there were several cars driving in our direction.

A lot of cars.

It was midnight and I knew that if Armani was coming he would have called to inform us.

That wasn't Armani.

I rushed to the bedroom and woke Elena and Bella up before going over to the crib and scooping Sienna up in my arms carefully so that I wouldn't wake her.

"What's going on?" Bella asked sleepily.

"They're here you must hide." I said "Come on."

I lead them to the back of the house where I knew the underground bunker was. Leo had told me all about it once he returned back with Elena.

I opened it and let Bella and Elena go first before handing Sienna over.

"Come on Amalia, hurry before they see you." Bella said.

The lights were getting closer and closer.

"I'm not getting in." I said

"What? Yes, you are!" Elena said

"I can't. They're here for me and they will search this place high and low until they find me I'm not going to put all of  your lives in danger because of me. I'll be okay I promise."

Before they could say another word I shut the bunker and headed to the front of the house. I waited for the cars to pull up. A dozen men got out and surrounded me I put my hands up and held back tears that threaten to fall.

"Giving up so easily?" One man said as he approached me. He had an Russian accent and was very tall.

He towered over me and his pale blue eyes put fear in my heart. I nodded my head and looked down at the ground.

He grabbed my chin and tugged my head up roughly to look at him "Who else is here?" he asked.

"No one." I said.

He stared at me hard his eyebrows furrowing "Don't lie to me. It won't end well for you."

"No one is here!" I spat.

He shoved me to the ground "Don't raise your voice at me. Ever."

I turned to look at him before flicking him off. He smirked.

"We're going to have lots and lots of fun. Get her boys."

Before I could do anything men were all around me holding me down and placing a rag over my nose. I screamed but it was muffled and my eyes began to droop I turned my head to the side and I could have sworn I saw a girl sitting inside with blonde hair.

Kassie?

Before I could completely make out the image I fell unconscious.
