"Enjoying the view?" Blake's words snapped my eyes back up, i didn't realise i was staring. Though he was huge, even bigger than ...jax. That was a horrifying memory. I wonder what happened to him anyway "earth to alex?"

"Oh, god. Right. I'm so sorry" i was flustered and didn't know what to do. So i just left.

"Oh god... I'm so stupid. What even was that?" I ran my hand through my hair. I know it was wrong to look but i couldn't look away.

By the time i had calmed down some blake had walked back in "you ok?" I felt so stupid "yeah, i don't know what that was about but i'm sorry" he sat next to me and rubbed my shoulders "it's ok, you were probably gonna see it sooner or later anyway"

I was blushing furiously and i tried to hide my face. "Alright well i'm gonna get a shower now, don't do anything stupid you still have to prepare me for tonight"

He chuckles and i head off to get a shower.

When i get out of the shower i take minute to stand against the sink counter. Why did i stare so long? What's wrong with me?

I hear a knock on the door "alex i left some clothes on the bed for you, don't mess them up. It's what you'll be wearing tonught" i let out a sigh "ok, thanks"

The clothes were black pants, a red button up shirt and a black vest. It was a cute little outfit but very formal.

I got dressed and went to the dining hall to see blake in a very handsome tux "hey cutie, lookin' like a snack" he pulls me in by the waist "i hope you don't mean that literally because you were the one who wanted these clothes to stay in good shape"

"the meeting is over brunch so... Soon enough i hope" he begins walking me down a massive hallway to some big double doors.

"This is where everyone will arrive. There are 4 realms not including ours: the werewolves, the mermaids, the nymphs and niads, and the humans. This meeting is to keep our alliances updated and make trades to benefit all of us. All you have to do is sit there, look pretty, and not piss anyone off"

This was a lot to take in "okay i think i got it" try not to say anything offensive and don't mees up anything important.

Blake walks me back to the dining hall where servants began setting up what seemed like a feast. "I don't know about this... What if i mess something up?" Blake begins kissing ny neck "c'mon i'm serious!"

He groans leaning his head back and answers "you'll be fine, just don't talk unless someone talks to you and look pretty. Check on that by the way" he smirks and pulled me closer.

This man will be the death of me. But for now i'm going to have to power through.

A woman walked in. She was elegant but radiated power. Ahe was probably the queen. She walked right up to me "you must be alex, blake's new mate. I've heard a lot about you"

She scared the shit out of me. All i could do was nod. She speaks again "i hope i'm not bothering you i just thought we should get acquainted before the meeting" i just hope she doean't eat me for brunch.

She keeps asking me simple questions like 'how am i enjoying the stay' and 'he doesn't drive you crazy yet?' And i answered but i stuttered like the little bitch i am.

Eventually she asked how old i was and blake had to interject "oh wait! He's sixteen today! It's his birthday" he was jumping excited and pelted me with kisses.

"Yeah i'm sixteen today, i don't really make a big deal out of it" she gives me a sympathetic smile "i understand, we'll try not to make you uncomfortable" she sounded so sincere but her figure and plain existence demanded respect.

Eventually i heard a voice call out "the realms have arrived" my face went pale and i couldn't move "c'mon" blake nudged me and pulled me back down the hall.

Everyone pulled up in either a tricked out car, fancy chariot, or in the mermaids case bubbles. As to how or why i had no idea, but i was too awestruck to ask.

Everyone was chatting and began sitting at the table until blake pulled me to him "oh yes! This is my mate alex" everyone was silent and i looked down in shame.

They probably hated me just by one look. The queen sat at the head of the table, blake beside her, and everyone else piled in until the only seat left was the other end from the queen. I felt so out of place.

I sat down and the wolves next to me looked at me. Some in disgust, others in awe "so how did you end up with him?" 2 wolves asked at the same time. One looked angry and repelled while the other seemed flirty and sweet.

"Well let's just say he saved me from sleeping in a cave" the angry one looked away like he was done with me and i felt pitiful. The sweet one grabbed my hand causing me to look up and smiled.

"Relax, i just wanted to know how a cutie like you ended up with a brute like him" he was sweet but his words caught my attention, and his reference to me made me blush. Damn why am i blushing so much today?!

"What do you mean 'a brute like him'? He seems really soft and sweet around me actually. A little protective but that's all" he scoffed making me more interested.

"Let's just say he's had a history of violence and... Drinking some dry" i stiffened 'he wouldn't kilo me would he? Or hurt me, atleast not on purpose' his words were making me doubtful and paranoid. I loved this man, he wouldn't hurt me. Right?

The humans were pretty easy to tell fron the rest, they didn't have seaweed or excessive hair or nature body parts.

So it was easy to tell who stood up and started talking "some of you have been wondering where my son is. He is late doing work from a little incident in one of his facilities. Do not worry he is on his way"

I wasn't that interested but oddly i felt uneasy, and not because of blake right now. I poke at my food taking small bites every now and then until an ear piercing creaking sound curled throughout the room. It was the door, the human must be here.

When he arrived something seemed familiar. Then we made eye contact. Wait. This is the man that trapped, molested, and abused me for 4 years.

He smirked devilishly at me, and the horribke memories of that place flooded my brain and i couldn't move.

All i could do was whimper out a "help" though noone heard me.
