"I never asked you to take care of them Cody!"I shouted.He walked out and slammed the door behind him.Another one gone.Weeks went by quickly after that.It was a rainy day in Los Angeles on May 16th.I heard someone yelling my name outside at 11 that night."What the fuck."I said.I got an umbrella and went outside.Dad stood there.What does he want this time."I know this is stupid, but Ava please please please just listen to me this one time."He yelled.I walked closer so he wouldn't yell again yet I had no neighbors.I live in a little country place."What?"I asked sighing."Let me be your dad again.Not your insane dad you've seen but you're nice dad who'll support you.Please forget the past,I honestly want to start over."He said looking me straight in my eyes.
*Author's POV*(Because I got bored)
Ava stood there a second before she started tearing up.She dropped her umbrella,not caring how soaked she would get,and ran up to Joey and hugged him as tight as she could."I love you daddy."She whispered.Joey started crying too.He hadn't heard heard her say that in a while."I love you too baby girl."He said.After a while they went inside and dried off.Ava thought the torture was over but she never knew what her father would become after this.
