Tonight is the night of your mission with Solid Snake. After your briefing of the plan, you and Blade Wolf go with him in his Jeep. You look around in the city and can see your mission objective off in the distance, a large building towering all others that belongs to a company called "World Marshall". It seems fine at first, but deep within lies a terrible secret...
Solid Snake: Remember, once we get to the rendezvous point, we'll continue on foot and sneak our way into the building. Security is tight, one alarm and it'll be all over for us. We need to be in and out as quickly and quietly as possible. Raiden?
Your head hasn't been feeling we'll lately. You can't stop thinking about your horrible past. Past experiences keep coming back to you as you look out into the city.
Jetstream Sam: Now I see...You deny your weapon its purpose! It yearns to bathe in the blood of your enemies... but you hold it back!
You close your eye and hear the screams of the innocent people that have died because of you. You take deep breaths and calm yourself down.
(Y/N): They can't find out.....It'll all be over....
Solid Snake: Raiden!
(Y/N): What!? Oh...uh...sorry....
Solid Snake: Keep your head in the game kid. Now isn't a good time to be spacing out.
(Y/N): I know Snake, I'll do the best i can tonight. Desperado isn't gonna know what hit them.
Blade Wolf: This is a stealth operation Raiden. It's better if you don't hit them at all.
(Y/N): Yeah no shit Fido. How'd you ever come up with that deduction?
Blade Wolf: If you wish to fight me, I'd be more than happy to oblige.
Solid Snake: Knock it off you two.
You suddenly get a call on your Codec and see that Mei Hatsume is trying to call you. You feel slightly embarrassed getting a call from your girlfriend right in front of Snake and look away as you answer it.
(Y/N): *Sigh* Hey Hatsume...
Mei: Hey metal butt, how's your internship going?
(Y/N): I told you to stop calling me that!
Mei: *Giggles* I'm just teasing.
(Y/N): Look Hatsume, i know you want to talk, but I'm doing something really important right now. I'll talk to you later.
Mei: Raideeen! I miss you...I wanna go another date and do something fun again.
(Y/N): I know, I know....Look when i get back we can do whatever you want. This thing I'm doing right now....it's going to be dangerous. Lives are on the line here. I can't afford to screw things up.
Mei: O-Oh um...im...im sorry.....
(Y/N): Hey it's fine. Don't worry about a thing. It'll all be over soon and we can have some fun again. I promise....
Mei: Aw you're so sweet. Alright, ill leave you alone. I looove you~.....Well?
(Y/N): Well what?
Mei: Aren't you gonna say it back?
(Y/N): I...i can't do it in front of him...
Solid Snake: Who are you talking too? Oh is it your girlfriend or something?
(Y/N): Ah shit....
Mei: Raideen...I'm not hanging up until you say iiiit~
