It's been days since the attack on the UA training camp. The students of Class 1A and B have been staying at a hospital a few miles from the forest to recover. Katsuki Bakugou hasn't been found and still lies in the clutches of the League of Villains. You have been in a coma since the attack and have gone through multiple surgical procedures due to the intensity of your injuries. Boris and Doktor make their way through the halls and to your room. The hospital is under the protection of Police, Heroes and even a few Maverick soldiers who patrol the grounds night and day.
Doktor: This is terrible....The League of Villains and Desperado.....them working together has shown that they're already several moves ahead of us.....
Boris: Don't say such things. We've dealt with situations like this before, we'll do so again. How long do you think it'll be before Raiden is back on his feet.
Doktor: If my calculations are correct, it should be any minute now.
As they reach your room, a soldier guarding the door stands at attention and gives them a salute. Boris gives them one back and they stand at ease.
Boris: Any progress?
Soldier: Raiden has no more surgeries assigned to him and is expected to recover as long as he gets plenty of rest sir. Some of his classmates came by to check on him as usual. Poor kids look beat to hell...
Doktor: Anything else?
Soldier: Well...that girl is back again...
Doktor: Oh dear....Hatsume....
Mei Hatsume sits at your bedside, holding your hand as she holds back her emotions. She sits quietly and the only noise filling the room is the sound of the heart monitor beeping.
Soldier: She's been in there for hours....That girl really cares about him....
Boris: *Sigh* We'll take it from here. You've earned yourself a break. Dismissed.
Boris and Doktor enter the room and Mei continues to stay silent. She looks up at Doktor who leans down on one knee and looks at her in the eyes.
Mei: He's....He's going to make it....right...?
Doktor: Of course...Hatsume...It's very sweet of you to drop by every day. I'm sure he appreciates it more than any of us.
Boris: You've given him a lot of strength through your kindness. I thank you for being there for him when he needed you Mei.
Mei: He risked his life to save everyone....I didn't do anything....I feel so useless....And now he's...h-he's....if my equipment was better h-he....
Mei covers her face as she starts to cry. Doktor holds out his arms offering a hug and she accepts, hugging the german scientists tightly. Suddenly they all notice you springing to life as you open your eyes slowly and taking deep breaths. You look around the room quickly and panicked before realizing your safe.
Boris: Raiden! You're awake!
Doktor: See? I told you it would only take a few minutes.
