Kathir and mulla reach home in the car. Kathir pulls into the house and as soon as they are in mullai gets out of the car unlocks the door and runs in crying.

Kathir comes in and makes a few calls. First to moorthy who expains that they are trying their best to find a solution but with the restrictions being stricter and mullai having a stay at home sticker in her hand it is almost impossible that they would be able to leave now. He then tells kathir to call murugan who is worried sick.

Kathir calls him up and murugan starts crying as soon he picks up the call. He can also hear parvathy crying in the background.

Murugan- Ipa ena panrathu mapla. Avaluku odambu vera serilaye?? Antha noi vanthurcha?? Ena aachu??

Murugan cries even more profusely. Unsure of what to say kathir just keeps repeating mulla will be fine. It takes kathir a few more minutes to calm him down. After that call he slumps down on the sofa exhausted. It is just nine and he is already had the worst day ever. He knows he needs to check in on her. Give her medicines and check her temperature but he needs a few moments to collect his thoughts. He just wants to be alone right now. He is extremely angry with her. It is her stupidity that has landed them in this situation. A nasty part of kathir just wants to scream at her. But she is sick and he cannot do that, he needs to calm down before he sees her again.

He is struck here with her for at least the next week.  He knows that. She obviously cannot leave with that stamp on her hand. And no one else would be able to come here with restrictions getting stricter every minute. He had to be here with her here and take care of her there was no way around it. He just sits cursing his bad luck when mulla comes barging out of her room.

M irritated- Nee ethuku avar kita pesina?? Epavum ilama ipa ethuku?? Enga kuda la nee pesa mataila ipa ena thideer Pasam?

She knows she is being unreasonable. She also knows kathir is only stuck here because of her. He only came to help  her. But she has reached her breaking point with everything. Her pain and sufferings all which she had thought was over by today had just worsened. And somehow she associated that with him unfairly yes but that's just how she felt. All the joy of seeing him yesterday has evaporated now that she knows she is stuck with him for the next 14 days. She wants to lash out at someone now and only he is available.

He goes into a room and shuts the door loudly. Mulla stands there weeping in the hall.
