Remus Lupin lives in an underground cave with fellow werewolves for part of 1995 and 1996. Dumbledore needed a spy, as most of the werewolves are on Voldemort’s side, and Lupin says he was “ready-made” for the job. The cave is somewhere in the United Kingdom, but its exact location is unknown.
