Alright. You've been begging for an update? Here's your fucking update.
Wattpad becomes a hell of a lot less fun when people start begging me to update books I honestly don't care about. WoF isn't my thing right now! It might be when the next book comes out. Maybe I'll become more of an active part of the fandom then. But I don't want to write about them now. I don't want to write about the Dragonets of Destiny, or the Jade Winglet, or whatever the hell we're calling Blue, Cricket, etc. I want to write about mostly We Are The Tigers, about Kateva and the ghosts and Cairo and Mattie and all of those characters. Aside from the fact that I care WAY more about those characters, other people care way more about my writing about those characters, I get votes and comments on those stories, and people have the common decency to not beg me for an update on those stories, even though I recently went over two months without updating WUATD. You can WANT an update. I'm reading a Parrlyn AU right now, and I want an update! But I don't beg for one. I comment about how much I love that story (Cathy bonding with Elizabeth is so fucking cute) and I wait patiently. And if the author doesn't feel like writing, I respect that. Maybe hardly updating or stating at the beginning of the previous chapter that this book is basically dead didn't get the message through for you guys: I'm not writing this book anymore. Got it?
I'm
Not
Writing
This
Book
At
The
Moment.
Maybe I'll pick it up again, but not right now.
Also, to those who are begging for an update without even letting me know you liked it (voting, commenting), how dare you? How dare you expect me to give and give and you don't have to take even a second to show that you liked it? I spend forever on this book, but even if I didn't, even if I wrote something in ten minutes and published it without even editing, you should still show that you liked it. Then maybe I'll feel a little bit nicer and I won't go off on you like this.
Thanks to those of you who read the entire thing.
Edit: one more thing: when you beg for an update on a one-shot book, what do you expect me to write? You don't give a ship, a situation, etc. You don't PROMPT me. You expect me to do all the fucking work.
If any other authors are having this similar problem, feel free to copy and paste this message and then edit in the relevant fandoms! Just be sure to ask me first.
Another edit: everyone telling me to stop saying fuck in the comments: if you don't want to say fuck, then don't! If you don't want to read fuck, then just politely leave! I literally don't care. But the second anyone tries to tell me I don't get to say fuck on my account, I won't hesitate to let my friends say whatever the fuck they damn well please. Don't you dare tell me I can't cuss on my damn book.
Fuckers.

FanfictionI hope you enjoy this little book I wrote that you somehow found in the depths of Wattpad. Warning: lots of Hamilton references. Moonbli. Lynxter. Turtlejou. Just so you know, it's gonna be a ton of heavy Moonbli.
