Family Affair

Rin wasted no time jumping up the cliff as Kurama and Yusuke warned her to stop, but she didn't. Not listening to them was beginning to be a trait that annoyed Yusuke of all people. He clenched his fists as he spoke. "She never listens and they call me hard headed."

Hiei disappeared then up the cliff himself, to face Rizo as the others watched Yukina. He was taller than both of them, everyone was taller than Hiei, but the man was massive atleast seven foot tall with eyes as lifeless and souless than Rin remembered him being. He stood in a stance ready to attack, as Rizo could see the anger on Rin's face.

"Daughter. I see you found your other siblings." He said, his voice was super low and deep, menacing and intimidating. His eyes glanced at Hiei before he acknowledged him. "Son. It's finally nice to meet you. Have you told your twin yet?"

"How do you know about me?" Hiei asked, taking his sword out.

Rizo looked pleased. "I know everything about my children. I made it my business to watch over you both. Once Rin was born it was somewhat harder to lose your mother again, but this time I won't make the same mistake."

"Mother is dead, Rizo. Let her go." Rin replied, not wanting to fight him, but flames formed in his pupils and she knew he was preparing for an attack.

"Your mother is dead because of you!" Rizo replied with a tremendous amount of hate in his voice. It was clear he blamed Rin for their lost. Which was insane because she was just a baby and had no clue of what she was doing. "I will never let her go!"

Flames came out of his palms in the form of dragons. Rin held up her shield to stop the flames from reaching her, but Hiei attacked him, sword ready as he tried to slice his head off, but was countered by Rizo's forearm. Hiei's sword broke to his surprise and the flames he was throwing towards Rin stopped as he punched Hiei in his stomach. Hiei's eyes widen as he looked into his father's eyes, blood coughed out of his mouth before he went flying off the cliff.

"Hiei!" Yukina called out to him, a tear falling from her eyes as she tried to climb the cliff as Kuwabara held her back. "Stop please! Rin! Don't hurt her please!"

Kurama jumped up before Hiei could hit the ground. He quickly had to move as flames nearly torched his skin as he jumped out of the way. Rizo was trying to kill his own children. Yusuke powered up his fists. The red energy took over and he jumped on top of the cliff while Rin attacked Rizo. She dodged his moves as he dodged hers, becoming equally matched as it seemed, but Rizo was just toying with her.

"I trained you daughter. I think I know your every move." He smirked through the mask, his eyes was laughing at her. It made Rin angry that her own father could be that cruel, be this merciless. Her knife appeared in her hand as she tried to swipe at his feet first with her legs so that he could jump up, thinking to strategize to stab him, but Yusuke performed his spirit gun, which caused dust to surround them causing Rizo to disappear.

Rin ran over to Yusuke then, to protect him from what she knew was coming. "What is wrong with you?" She was legitimately angry with him. "Stay out of this!" Before Yusuke could reply, his face contorting in anger, a huge flame of a dragon's mouth, thick and angry, was now coming towards them. Rin covered Yusuke, wrapping her arms around his waist as she shielded him from the attack, but was becoming weaker by the second as the flames threatened to engulf her.

Before she could finish blocking the attack, the punch, powered by flames hit her square in her chest. Blood pooled from her mouth as she was sent flying several yard away from the fight. Yusuke was left now to defend for himself. Rizo was fast, but Yusuke had Raizen in his blood that caused him to be a little bit matched with Rizo, but he couldn't stop the elbow attack to his jaw that sent him ground sliding away. He didn't think, but shot his spirit gun in hopes of blocking the flamed dragon, that was following behind Rizo from incinerating him.

"Dragon of the darkness flame!" A black dragon now battled against the red flames one as Yusuke held his arms up so he could see in front of him. Hiei was back up, cloak off, ready for another round as he felt now how powerful Rizo was. Kurama came over with Yukina running past everyone else to help Rin. Diamonds continued to fall from her eyes.

"Kurama who is that man? Why is he so insisted on hurting Rin?" Yukina touched her sister's now sleeping body with so much pain in her voice it did anger Kurama.

"I'm sorry, Yukina. I believe that man to be Rizo. You and Rin's father." He had to tell her the truth, even though it pained her even more. She looked back in pure shock.

"Then why is he attacking us?" She stood to run over to Rizo, but Kurama held her with him. As they both looked to the scene Hiei and Rizo were locked in a close combat battle as Yusuke helped Kuwabara up. A blast from Rizo sent both Yusuke and Kuwabara flying backwards though as Yukina cried for Kuwabara. Kurama could only step in front of her to protect her if needed.

Rizo was now coming right for them. The anticipation made Kurama change into his fox form as he prepared himself for a battle with Rizo. Hiei stopped him then and then Yusuke, running along with his newly spirit sword to attack Rizo. They all attacked at once, but Rizo wasn't phased by the attacks in the least. "He's strong." Yoko Kurama muttered. A touch to his exposed ankle caused him to look down as Rin was getting up from the ground.

"You need to run." She struggled, but Yukina helped heal her as she helped her up. "Get the others and go." Rin demanded to Yoko Kurama as he squinted his eyes in defiance.

"We aren't leaving you." Yoko turned his head slightly to look at her then back as he sensed Rizo right next to him.

"No!" Yukina yelled, standing in front of Yoko Kurama as Rin stood quickly ready to defend them. Rizo paused as if seeing Yukina for the first time made him realize what he was doing. "Please...father..." Her voice broke as she reached out to touch his hand.

"You look so much like your mother." Rizo said, closing his eyes. Rin took the opportunity to kick Rizo back as she grabbed Yukina's shoulders, moving her out the way. Rizo looked deadly again, but his own flame consumed him and caused him to disappear.
