_3 Hours before_

Yusuke woke to Keiko sitting on the bed after what Yusuke thought to be a very passionate night with her, but he woke to see her nearly crying on the edge of the bed. He wiped his eyes to make sure that he was seeing correctly, but he was. Keiko was crying silent tears falling from her face.

"Hey...Keiko what happened?" Yusuke asked, jumping out of bed as if something was wrong.

"You were gone, Yusuke for so long...Again!" She sobbed, nearly screaming at him.

"I told you it was the mission. It wasn't my fault things got out of hand..."

Keiko shook her head. "No it's what you wanted isn't it? Why can't you just be honest with me. You don't want me anymore." She stood to walk off, but Yusuke grabbed her arm to keep her from walking off. "Well I have had enough waiting for you to come around."

"What are you talking about? I am here with you aren't I?"

"No. You aren't."

"We made love last night. I was worried about you. I don't understand what is happening between then and now." He was purely confused by her actions, standing in front of her naked.

"No, Yusuke you made love to someone else. Not me. I can tell you were somewhere else with someone else, not me. Was it Rin? I see the way you look at her Yusuke, I'm not blind." Keiko explained, which caused Yusuke to look guilty. "Ever since you saw her your sex with me has felt off. I didn't know why at first, but now I do. Did you have sex with her?"

Yusuke's face contorted. "No." Keiko wasn't buying it. "We didn't Keiko."

"But you wish you did." Keiko replied, for which Yusuke didn't answer as she sniffed. "I knew it." She jerked away from him as Yusuke called for her, trying to find some pants to put on to run after her.

"Keiko come back!" He yelled for her. He then saw someone following her on top of the roof as he sped up now concerned. "Keiko!" Before he could reach her a few inches away she was gone with a flash of orange light.

_Present_

Kurama walked into Genkai's dojo, to it surprisingly quiet. The insurance on his apartment was now going through and the repairs already in place. It wouldn't have to be to much longer he had to stay there with Genkai. He could go back to normal, go back to college, go back home, but all those things seemed redundant now that he met Rin. He sighed knowing his life was now forever changed for the better, he could still smell her on his skin and found himself throughout the few hours he was gone missing her.

His eyes squinted as he walked towards her room, to find her door open and room empty. From her window there was a bright light that nearly blinded Kurama as he started to worry running outside with no shoes on towards the light. His heart pounded as he assumed something bad had happened to her. A blast nearly drew him back as he had to place his arms up to block the force from carrying him away.

"Rin?" Once the attack settled he continued to where the battle had just taken place. What was left inside the cave was Rin's instruction Genkai left and that was it. She was here for sure.

"Kurama?" He heard Kuwabara's loud voice boom from the yard. "Rin? We have problems. Where is everyone?"

Kurama ran back, jumping in front of Kuwabara. "What happened?"

"Oh there you are. Yusuke says Keiko has gone missing. Some guy grabbed her with a bright orange light." Kuwabara explained. "Where is Rin?"

"The Light Orb took her." Hiei appeared out of nowhere, wounded, nearly standing as he held his arm.

"Hiei what are you..." Kurama already knew why he was beaten up. He never left the compound. Of course not. He would want his sisters protected. "You never left last night." Kurama helped his friend stand as he escorted him to the porch to help him sit.

"No some fool named Tegan was stalking Rin. Some how Rizo managed to get his friends the Orb he stole. Naturally, I fought him, but he was performing moves with the light Orb I couldn't even keep up with. He is faster than me and can move at the speed of light rather easily. I never seen anything like that."

"You think the same guy's have Keiko?" Kuwabara asked, extremly worried.

"It is possible," Kurama replied, sadly.

"But why would they kidnap Keiko?" Kuwabara asked all the question no one had to answer too.

"To get back at the detective maybe." Hiei replied, thinking of the most logical reason.

Kurama's eyes squinted deadly. "Whatever reason we have to find them. Where is Yusuke now, Kuwabara?"

Rin fell on her knees as Tegan seemed to move in the speed of light teleporting her to an abandoned warehouse where Ka, held onto Keiko. The contents of her stomach couldn't take the unusual way of traveling as everything she had just ate now was pouring out of her as Tegan only smirked.

"Yeah it takes sometime to get use to it." Tegan held Rin's head up as he made her look at Keiko. "We heard you last night you know. The Spirit detective and you got some feelings for each other am I right?"

Rin looked to Keiko seeing her puffy eyes look at her. It was written all over her face she already knew it. There was no denying the way Yusuke looked at Rin. Not to mention their conversation last night, she was bound to figure it out sooner or later, but Rin was hoping it was later.

Tegan pulled on her hair, pulling her head back as she grunted from the pain. "You're just a little whore aren't you? I watched you and the red head in the darkness..." Tegan's eyebrows bounced up and down as Rin became angry eye turning purple as she attacked Tegan slicing her sword across his stomach connecting to his surprise.

"Leave him out of this. In fact leave all of them alone and I won't be forced to kill you." She said, standing now, finding new found strength. Her sword in one hand and her gun in the other as she pointed that to Ka. "Release her now."

Ka tsked. "I'm sorry princess can't do that." He replied. "Not until we have what we came for." Rin fired then not wasting anytime. Her bullet fired towards Ka's head, but it was a wave of what seemed to be water that stopped it from reaching him and as she was distracted Tegan got up throwing a light energy blast towards Rin, hitting her side, but she jumped out of the way.

"We will set her free if you give us the Orb. A life for a life Rin. It has always been our motto." Tegan replied, walking closer to Rin as she backed back. Tegan was a big buff shoulder guy that was way taller than she was and much stronger. With their orbs overpowering hers there was no way she would be able to win this fight, but that didn't stop her from trying.

Her entire body glowed as she was determined to stop Tegan atleast. She closed her eyes and cleared her mind as the light shone brightly into the sky. The purple hue would be seen from miles giving Yusuke a clue as to where they were and come for Keiko. Tegan stumped over his body leaned forward for extra momentum as Rin just stayed still, waiting her chance. Her eyes opened at the exact moment to cut Tegan's leg's and came out on the other side.

Tegan only healed from the wound, no blood just the light pouring form him. Rin cursed under her breath as he turned throwing a heavy crate her way that she easily sliced. Then another that she sliced to see Tegan now in her face. Her eyes widen, but looked to her right as he was now gone. The kick sent her flying into the wall as she panted, screaming painfully as Tegan didn't stop there. The punch to her stomach was caught though by her shielding herself, not needing her hands, this time. Then he tried another kick that was stopped as she shielded herself.

Taking advantage of the opportunity Rin stabbed Tegan again with her sword and then kicked him back so now he went flying. She bounced off the wall pushing herself to give her momentum. Rin and Tegan collided forcing a bright light to blind everyone, a mix of purple and white.

"Rin!" She heard the voice call her name. Then the same voice called Keiko's name. Yusuke and the others had made it.
