Michael Jackson and I were going to the children's hospital so Michael could spread happiness among the sick children.

But this time, we were going to be putting on a play for all the children who were in the hospital.

The building that we were using was the school's auditorium that was right beside the hospital.

Lots of parents whose kids were either sick or well could come and and see us perform.

Michael's manager was even enthusiastic about the idea.

I was going to be playing the duck song with my acoustic guitar.

I was being the narrator and the man behind the stand.

Michael was dressed up as the duck.

He was covered in yellow feathers from head to toe.

And he wore solid orange sneakers and a yellow wig.

Soon, the audience was here and the play was about to begin.

Even Macaulay Culkin, a good friend of Michael's was here.

He was sitting in the very front row with his parents and his brother.

In the backstage area that was behind the curtains, I walked over to Michael to make sure that his duck costume was still in good shape.

"Perfect! Now let the show begin"!

Michael giggled excitedly as I walked out onstage.

A homemade lemonade stand with actual glass cups and a pitcher of lemonade was easily spotted in the front row.

I then sat down behind the lemonade stand while stood right behind the curtain.

"A duck walked up to a lemonade stand
And he said to the man, running the stand
"Hey! (Bum bum bum) Got any grapes?"
The man said
"No we just sell lemonade. But it's cold
And it's fresh
And it's all home-made. Can I get you a
glass?"
The duck said,
"I'll pass".

Michael was feeling shy about everything.

And because he was wearing a duck costume, the yellow feathers were tickling his nose.

"Tis-choo"!

He sneezes, trying to blow the feather away.

"Michael Jackson, you're supposed to be waddling away from the lemonade stand"!

I whispered to him, trying not to laugh at his cute sneezing fits.

Michael walked past the curtain.

"Shush it, can't you see that I'm star of the show"?

He whispered to me back, grinning mischievously.

I rolled my eyes and smiled.

Michael began waddling away from the lemonade stand and then he had to come back to it.

Then he waddled away.
(Waddle waddle)
'Til the very next day.
(Bum bum bum bum ba-bada-dum)

When the duck walked up to the lemonade stand
And he said to the man running the stand,
"Hey! (Bum bum bum) Got any grapes?
The man said,
"No, like I said yesterday
We just sell lemonade OK?
Why not give it a try?"
The duck said,
"Goodbye".

I played my acoustic guitar to the beat of the music.

Michael tried his to give a smile, but he was having trouble keeping the feathers away from his face.

Then he waddled away.
(Waddle waddle)
Then he waddled away.
(Waddle waddle)
Then he waddled away
(Waddle waddle)
'Til the very next day.
(Bum bum bum bum ba-ba-dum)

When the duck walked up to the lemonade stand
And he said to the man running the stand,
"Hey! (bum bum bum) Got any grapes?
The man said,
Look, this is getting old.
I mean, lemonade's all we've ever sold.
Why not give it a go?"
The duck said,
"How 'bout, no."

The children were giggling at how funny the person looked wearing a yellow duck costume.

But none of them knew it was actually Michael Jackson himself!

I was still giggling softly at the king of pop's cute sneezing fits.

"Tis-choo"!

He sneezed again and again.

"Michael, you sneeze like a kitten"!

I giggled and he gave me a pouty face.

When the duck walked up to the lemonade stand
And he said to the man running the stand,
"Hey! (Bum bum bum) Got any grapes?"
The man said,
"That's it
If you don't stay away, duck,
I'll glue you to a tree and leave you there all day, stuck
So don't get to close!"
The duck said,
"Adios."

Then he waddled away.
(Waddle waddle)
Then he waddled away.
(Waddle waddle waddle)
Then he waddled away
(Waddle waddle)
'Til the very next day.
(Bum bum bum bum ba-ba-dum)

Michael was getting annoyed and he was sweating all over his forehead.

He was hoping that he would be able to take off the costume soon.

And the man just stopped.
Then he started to smile.
He started to laugh.
He laughed for a while.
He said,
"Come on duck, let's walk to the store.
I'll buy you some grapes
So you won't have to ask anymore."

So they walked to the store
And the man bought some grapes.
He gave one to the duck and the duck said,
"Hmmm..No thanks. But you know what sounds good?
It would make my day.
Do you think this store
Do you think this store
Do you think this store has any lemonade?"

Then he waddled away.
(Waddle waddle)
Then he waddled away.
(Waddle waddle waddle)
Then he waddled away
(Waddle waddle)

The children and their parents cheered for me and Michael Jackson.

They laughed and cheered and when Michael finally went backstage, he was able to take off the silly costume.
