Chapter 12

Silver walked out first, leading Violet holding Jasper's hands behind his back. "Maz!" Violet said as the small orange woman walked up to them for the 3rd time in that day. Violet handed Silver Jasper and gestured for her to bring him to the ship. "Thank you again for letting Jasper boy here another chance and not executing him on the spot." Violet said turning to Maz and giving her a smile, "No thank you, the Resistance is really hating on the First Order and Grey Republic and the guts you have to come here is astronomical." She said as a smile played on her face and nodded goodbye as Violet turned to leave.

She boarded the ship to find Silver in the pilot seat and Jasper in the lounge area sitting quietly. Violet held the necklace she took from him and walked to Silver, "You think you can take us back to Yavin, I need to do something." Violet asked as she placed a hand on the seat and Silver clicked some buttons on the dash board. "Sure General." She said as Violet nodded and left.

Violet stood in the hallway watching the boy as he sat on the lounge, hunched over as he thought in terror. "You should talk to him." A voice said behind Violet as she looked at the boy with concern, "Yah Anakin, and what would I tell him?" Violet asked sarcastically as the familiar force surged through the room. "Tell him the story of the necklace, he had it for a reason..." Anakin said placing a hand on her shoulder. She took a shaky breath and walked forward toward him.

She sat next to him debating on how to start the conversation. "You know... This necklace has a backstory..." Violet started, playing with the necklace in her hands as Jasper stiffened at her words. "I was raised in First Order.... How the kriff am I going to leave now..." Jasper said holding back the tears as Violet placed a hand on his for reassurance.

"Some mistakes get made, that's alright and that's ok. In the end its better for you, just the moral of the story." She said under her voice as he slouched down into the lounge.
