Chapter 42

The Reaper landed smoothly onto the large flat top of a landing bay. Silver and Casedrion essendant the long deck. Violet walked up with Jasper on her right and Syala on her left. She smiled as she saw the two come from her ship but her smile widened when she saw her droid, "Nice to see you too BB." She said with a fond smile as she looked to Silver and Casedrión, "So, did you get the information?" She asked with a small smile as Silver nodded. "Of course we did! It was nice actually meeting the Ghost Crew, really sweet people." She said with a wide smile as Violet nodded, remembering the last time she saw the crew was almost a year ago to the day.

Violet smiled and thanked them for their work, telling them a goodbye before retreating back, now with her droid, to the control areas, continuing to keep the base in check and working properly. Silver looked to Casedrión and smiled, "Want a ride back to Tatooine? You didn't have much of a choice the last time we ran into each other." She said with a small nervous laugh as her hand raised to the back of her neck, "Nah, I want a tour of this song called "important" base to the Republic, so- after you, M'lady." He says with a wavering voice of sarcasm as he performs a fake bow for her making her laugh. She smiled at his little banter, "As you wish, my prince." She plays along with his "act as he looks to her with the helmeted face but she could feel his confusion, "What?" She asked as he straightened, "so I'm your prince?" He questions with a fake thinking posture as she elbowed him, "Jones you disgust me." She said as she walked on, "Don't start this again, Mlady, I already know you Discuss me." He said as he elbowed her as she laughed sarcastically, pushing him back as they walked through the large base.

On the car end of base, Violet was taking her time to get to the Control deck, she had sent Syala on a fun get away from the base in scouting out the land so it was just her and Jasper, added with BB-A stuck to Violet's heel. She walked into the control room, noticing the slight chaos but it was controlled, just to her liking. She looked down to the lower level of the bay from the balcony she stood on as Jasper descended down, going to help others. 

BB-A tapped against Violet's leg making her look down. The droid beeped multiple times in the imperial code as she knelt down, "What is it BB, Girl?" She looked at the red and black droid as it beeped a few replies and a hologram of her uncle. She panicked, trying to turn off the message as she heard the words of Birthday and Niece played out of the droid. She finally got her rust bucket of a droid to turn off the recording as she sighed out of the panic, "I would like to have a warning the next time you play a message from my uncle and about today," she said to the droid as she stood, looking over the ledge, "Especially today." She mumbled as BB-A flew her extensionz in the air, mumbling arguments to Violet as she rolled away, beeping harsh insults as she went.

Violet sighed at her droid as she caught Jasper's eyes. She looked into the dark brown eyes with conviction of knowing what he was thinking. She cussed under her breath as she turned to walk down into the bay to make sure everything was in order then collected a good stack of papers that needed to be done from her overworked companions then excused herself off to her room, very much aware of her follower.
