She laughed. "I'm sure your parents are the same." he let out a little laugh.

"Go inside now. It's getting chilly already." he hugged his arms.

"Taehyun! I'm back." he shouted at the living room.

"How's your date?" Taehyun asked, eyes still glued at the book he's reading.

"It's not a date, we went to her house."

Taehyun looked at him and put the book he's reading down. "In her house? And why is that?"

"Her parents thanked me."

Beomgyu sat at their couch and explained everything to the confused boy.

Ryujin is now in her room doing homework as usual when someone knocked on her door.

"Come in." she replied while writing.

"Oh dad, why?" she tilted her head.

"I'm just checking on you. I thought you're sleeping already."

"Hmm I'll just finish this and I'll head to bed." she gave a sweet smile to her father.

"Don't stay up too late okay?" he patted her head.

"Yes dad, goodnight."

"Goodnight Ryu." her dad left her room and closed the door.

"That shit is dangerous. Good thing you came in time huh?" Taehyun slapped his arm.

"Aye Beomgyu is a night and shining armor now eh?" he teased him.

He just chuckled. "Alright, go eat dinner there."

"No thanks, I'm full. Uncle invited me to their dinner earlier."

"Wah, uncle." Taehyun tsked and pinched his arm.

"Aish." he slapped his hand. "I'll leave you here, I'll go to sleep. I'm tired. Goodnight!" he stood up and went to his room.
