Altyrei's POV

We had entered the lab and it seemed pretty cool inside

There was a garden and rest area right on the left and further in was a study and shelves of books I don't know were about lined above it

Leon looked around as I noticed a cute dog pokemon run up to him

It barked in a happy way and Leon knelt down to pet it

"What do you want this time, Leon?" A voice asked

We looked back up to the library and saw a orange haired woman placing back a book to a shelf

"I hope its not something impossible like a new powerful pokemon to find"

He laughed but assured her it wasn't

We waited for her to get to us before Leon introduced her

"Her name is Sonia" he thought before continued to speak "What can I say about Sonia, I like her cooking" he said with pride and a smile

Sonia retorted by saying that they were actually rivals during their journey

Sonia then turned to me and Gloria

"Anyway, my name is Sonia, I'm the professor's assistant"

She turned back to Leon

"So who are these two?"

Leon introduced us and explained that he wanted her to help us on our journey before leaving

Sonia sighed before complaining about his behavior and why he always gets lost all the time

"Oh looks like you've got a Rotom Phone" she said to Gloria

Immediately her phone flew out of her pocket and indeed it had a Rotom in it

Sonia began explaining the usefulness of Rotom Phones and made it so Gloria could use the Pokedex with it

It took a while for me to realize that I had only a normal phone, one that doesn't have the function to allocate a Rotom

"Oh, I didn't know you didn't have one, I'm sorry" Sonia apologized

"Perhaps Gran can help, she lives in the house down along route 2"

With that we thanked her and left for the professor's house

I told Gloria that I wasn't familiar with the area and asked if I could just walk with her and she agreed

Not long after we begun to make our way to route two I noticed a boy standing by the road waving towards us

"Hey Gloria!"

He ran towards us and noticed me

"Who's your new friend?"

"Her name's Altyrei" she turned to me "this is my friend Hop"

"She's trying to become a trainer like us"

"Oh? Then do you know the basics of being a trainer then?" He asked me

I nodded, of course if you become a trainer you should atleast know the essentials of being one

I'm sure he was just being thoughtful but it was unnecessary to ask

"Anyway Sonia told us to go to the professor's house at route two wanna come with?"

Hop nodded before speaking again
