Lexi POV
Yep I got kicked out again! I finally finished crying and I am scared to go back home.
I took out my phone and started scrolling through my contacts to see who I can call to stay for a night.
And then something popped up in my mind, Jess. I think she will welcome me to stay with her. I clicked on to her contact.
“Sup? what can I help you with?”
“Um… Hi Jess I… I got kicked out, can I crash at your place tonight.” I asked.
“Yeah Yeah Yeah sure, I will ask Joel to pick you up.” She said.
“Okay sure um.. but I am not sure where I am. I think I am lost.” I said.
“Its okay… Look around for the signs and tell me what street you’re at, I will tell Joel to come and pick you up.” She said.
“Okay thanks, um… I’m at St. Louis street.”
“Okay I am calling Joel, see you later.”
“Thanks bye!”
Joel’s POV
“Bro are you free?” Jess asked
“Dude, why are you calling me? We’re legit in the same freakin house!”
“I’m too lazy to crawl outta ma bed!” She said.
“By the way, can you go to St. Louis street to pick Lexi up?”, “She got kicked out of the house by her father… So since mum and dad went to travel, she’s going to stay for a night with us.” She continued.
“AGAIN!? I’m legit gonna kill Lexi’s dad if I have a chance, yep I’m going.” I told Jess and I ran straight out the house.
Wait where am I going, well shit just YOLO it, cause bitch I'm fabulous.
I drove for half an hour.
Where the hell is St Louis’s street? I spent like half an hour, to find this freakin street. But anyways, if it’s for Lexi, I’d do anything for her… HOLD UP! ME AND LEXI ARE JUST FRIENDS, NOTHING MORE!
15 minutes later…
Oh god!!! Finally, I found St Louis’s street! I saw Lexi sitting at the side of the road, wrapping her arms around her body, trying to stay warm in the windy weather.
“Lexi!” I said as I hopped off the car.
“Joel! What took you so long?” She asked while shivering.
“Um… I couldn’t find St Louis’s street…”
“Oh…”
“Anyways, let’s hop in the car and go home.”
I walked to the other side of the car and opened the door for Lexi, then running back to the other side and hop in the car as well. I turned on the heater for Lexi because she’s shivering so badly right now…
“Lexi!!” I yelled.
“Yea!” She replied quickly.
“Is the heater warm enough for you?” I asked.
“Y-yea It’s so warm in here…” She stuttered.
Lexi POV
Where’s Joel? I’ve been waiting for him for about an hour… Where could he be? Anyways, I’m shivering so badly right now because of the wind that is blowing right into my face...
