Author's Note:

Hey guys, I'm very sorry that I'm not updating as much, even though I may not have that much reads. I will still update this book. I have been crowed with homeworks and assessments that I cannot update frequently, I'm very sorry. I know it's a bummer just having an author's note but hope you all understand and I will try and update by the end of this week and stay cool.

Lexi POV

When I saw Riley walking towards us, questions start to pop out of my head, why is she here?

Wait too late I already knew what she is about to do yep, she shouted at me “Bitch, what the fuck do you think you're doing?”

Oh bitch it’s on, and obviously I have to act innocent ‘

“What are you talking about?”. Wait for it, and bam she shouted

“I SAW YOU FLIRTING IN CLASS WITH MY MAN, YOU THINK YOU COULD JUST WALK AWAY LIKE THAT!?”

Wow that was harsh, hey we also earned some audiences, how great, slow clap moments right there. I didn’t fight back, when I was about to reply to her shouting screaming of speech, Joel cut in.

“Babe, calm down, we were just chatting, you are acting like we just had sex or something…”

I guessed she had enough, cause she pulled Joel away and said this.

‘Bitch, this isn’t over yet, let’s go babe.’ She said as she drag Joel out of the classroom.

I was shocked what the fuck does she mean by ‘this isn’t over yet’ what did I fucking do, yeah, I maybe helped him wipe something off from side of ‘her man’s’ lips but well i guess we will have to know later.

I stopped thinking about what Riley said and start to walk towards the math classroom.

Joel POV

After having our ‘personal time’ with Riley and I kinda feel guilty about doing it, though I can’t figure out why. I think it is just some random shit that is getting on to me. Nevermind.

“Hey babe I am going home now, see you tomorrow.” As I said to Riley. She nodded and gave me a small smile. I walked out the door. While I was walking home I saw this girl in the middle of the streets crying, I went over to her and I stared at her for a few seconds.

“Hi... why are you crying?” She looked up and she looks some what familiar, I thought who may she look like, and something popped out of my head. Lexi.

“Lexi what happened”. I asked in a sorrow voice.

I can’t see her cry, it breaks my heart, I just feel like something inside me is breaking, something that would never be repaired.

“My father kicked me out.” she answered quietly. I got so angry that I just want to punch her father.

“Why is that?!” I tried to say that in a calm voice but failed.

“I told him what happened today at lunch, when I mention Riley’s name he.. he kicked me out.” She stuttered.

 Lexi POV

I started walking back home after school, when I walked back home I was greeted by my abusive stepfather, I hope that he hasn't gone out drinking or else I would be fucking doomed.

Now you see my mom is a nurse which she barely even comes back home. She have to work really hard for the whole family or else, who will? My real father has left my mother when he found out my mother is pregnant, after my father left, I was born. My mother didn't really cared about me when I was born, she just tries to make as much money as she can, trying to run the family. Later on, she remarried to my step father now, Dan. At the first few weeks when he lived with us he was very dedicated to this family and later on, he started drug dealing and getting drunk.

Once my mother wants to leave him alone, but came running back to us the next day. So I guess my childhood got ruined by my step father. I stepped into the house and heard the TV was turned on, god why would you do that to me. Yep, my step father is home can't get any happy right! (Note my sarcasm). I tried to run straight up to my room and close the door as soon as possible. But with my luck nothing goes my way!

"Lexi, Lexi come here please." He slurred out.

I walk next to him and sat down.

"What's the matter dad?" I asked

"Hey how was your day at school Lexi." He asked

"oh um.. How should I put it. Okay so we had science, english, math and art for today's lesson, but at lunch time there was this girl who's called Riley, who shouted at me then..."

I feel something burning on my cheek and I fell down to the floor. I was welcomed by a smack right on the cheek, how great!?

"WHAT THE HECK! WHY DID YOU SMACK ME." I yelled at my father.

"LEAVE THIS FUCKING HOUSE RIGHT NOW LEXI! RIGHT NOW!" My father yelled back.

I couldn't take it any more and stomp out of the house grabbing nothing but my wallet. I ran as far as I can, trying to run away from my home and suddenly, I felt warm tears running down my cheek that are still burning like shit! I sat down in the back street and tears started building in my eyes, burying my vision. After a few minutes, I can feel that someone is walking towards me.

“Hi... why are you crying?” I looked up, this guys definitely looks familiar. Boom. He’s Joel.

“Lexi what happened”. He asked in a sorrow voice, with hurt in his eyes.

“My father kicked me out” I answered quietly. Then, I saw his fist forming a I-really-wanna-punch-your-dad’s-face shape.

“Why is that?!” He continued.

I get to admit that his face is as red as a tomato now, I tried not to giggle.

“I told him what happened today at lunch, and when I mention Riley’s name, he… he… slapped me and kicked me out of the house.” I stuttered.
