Joel POV
Me and Lexi walked into the house. I can see that Lexi’s eyes are full of amusement, I think she never went into a mansion like this before, excluding the one time when she went to Riley’s house.
“Hi!” Jess said, while welcoming Lexi into the house.
“Hey!” Lexi responded.
“We’re about to have dinner now, so you can get ready and do all the jazzy stuff.”
Lexi POV
Oh my god… I never thought that Joel and Jess were that rich. But anyways… their house is fab. I’m pretty sure that all my friends are rich, not like me…
“Hi!” Jess said, while welcoming me into the house.
“Hey!” I responded.
“We’re about to have dinner now, so you can get ready and do all the jazzy stuff.” She said excitedly.
I looked around again, there is a chandelier hanging the living room, with a dining table that can seat 8 people. There is a 70 inch TV hanging on the wall, with a white couch in front of it. I wandered around the house and saw an open kitchen, it was neat and the dishes were lined up on the desk, ready for dinner. I also saw a chef in the kitchen, he seems to be professional. Then I saw the maid delivering the dishes to the table.
“Its dinner time!” Jess shouted.
I walked towards the dining table and sat down. The table was full of dishes. There is a plate of mashed-potatoes, spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna and a pot of cream soup. I’ve never had a dinner like that before! I wish I won’t be eating like a pig and embarrass myself…
“Lexi!” Jess yelled.
“Y-yes!” I stuttered. I think I was day-dreaming again just now…
“Are you okay?” Jess asked considerately.
“Yea I am…” I said quietly.
Jess nodded and continued having her dinner. At the corner of my eye, I can see that Joel is looking at me, worried.
Joel POV
“Hi!” Jess said, while welcoming Lexi into the house.
“Hey!” Lexi responded.
“We’re about to have dinner now, so you can get ready and do all the jazzy stuff.” She said excitedly.
I climbed up and stairs and went into my room. I tidied up my room and make sure that everything is neat and tidy, just incase if Lexi comes in she will have a better impression of me… I lay down on my bed, staring at the ceiling, thinking about Lexi again, this time, I didn’t deny that we’re just friends, I accepted the reality, I have a crush on Lexi.
“Its dinner time!” Jess shouted.
I walked down the stairs and walked towards the dining table. I saw Lexi sitting there, daydreaming.
“Lexi!” Jess yelled.
“Y-yes!” she stuttered. I think she was day-dreaming again just now…
“Are you okay?” Jess asked considerately.
“Yea I am…” she said quietly.
I was looking at her, worried, why is she always day-dreaming…?
Jess POV
I was so excited that Lexi is staying a night in my place!! Its like a sleepover!
“Hey Lexi.” I said while munching on a piece of meatball.
“Yea?” She replied.
“Did you bring any clothes with you?”
“No…”
“I can lend you some!”
“Ok!”
“Oh and by the way, you’re gonna sleep with me tonight! Lets gossip!” I exclaimed.
“YASSSSS!!!” She said excitedly.
After dinner
Lexi POV
Dinner was awesome! Jess told me that she’s going to lead me to her room and take a shower. When I went to her room, the first thing I saw was the bed, a king sized bed. Her room looks a bit like Riley’s, but instead of pink color for the theme, she used light blue for her wall and her dresser. Other things were in light purple and white. There’s a 50 inch TV placed on top of a white cabinet and there’s a dark blue couch in front of it. There’s a white desk that has a Desktop on it, and also a bunch of notes and quotes stuck on the wall. I wish I had a room like her’s… Then, I saw her taking out a bunch of clothes from her dresser.
“Here, pick what you wanna wear for sleeping!” She said, pointing at the pile of clothes.
“Erm… I’m just gonna wear this.” I said while picking up and T-shirt and a pair of black leggings.
“Oh, and the toilet is right there. Enjoy!” She said while pointing towards the toilet.
“Thanks Jess.” I said appreciately.
“No problem! We’re BFFs, remember?”
I nodded and smiled. I walked towards the toilet and saw make-up lining up neatly against the mirror. I was so jealous of Jess. I took off my filthy clothes and hopped into the showers. I turned on the tap, and let the hot water pour down on me. Joel, is the only thing that came into my mind. I still remember Joel helping me get tissues while I was crying. I still remember Joel opening the car door for me. I still remember Joel turning on the heater for me in the car. I still remember Joel placing his hoodie on my shoulders while I was shivering. Even little things these are unforgettable. And now, I have to admit that I have a crush on Joel, I couldn’t deny it.
After taking a shower, I already saw Jess lying on the bed, sleeping. I wonder when she took the shower. I walked out of the room and wandered around the place. I slowly walked down the stairs. Then, I heard sound coming from the entrance. I quickly walk towards the entrance, and guess who I saw…?
