Jays POV:
After letting her inside we made our way to the living room . We started chatting and drinking the beer she brought .These past weeks we got pretty close , hung out more often. I could talk to her about everything and she was always there for me.
Then she asked me a question, the question I knew she would have asked earlier or later but tried to avoid . „ How are you doing jay ?"
I looked at her . „ I'm okay " , is all I could say .
„ This case was really hard for you , wasn't it ?",
she said . „ Yeah , but id rather not talk about it ", I replied . „ That's okay . Just know that I'm here for you and if you ever feel the need to talk you know who to talk to ."
I nodded in reply , glancing at the bottle of beer I held in my hand, then looked at her again . She looked at me , with a comforting smile but in a different ,more lovingly way. The next think she did came unexpected. She moved closer to me , cupped my cheek and kissed me gently. She pulled away a couple seconds later , blushing . „sorry " is all she managed to say .
I looked at her , cupped her face and kissed her .
She was a lil surprised by my action , then kissed me back . After what felt like ages but only had been a couple seconds I pulled away from the kiss . She looked at me , smiled . „ I had feelings for you for a while now and I didn't know how to tell you , so i shoot my shot " ,she admitted .
„ Well , I'm glad you did " ,is all I managed to reply , smiling . We spent the rest of the night , cuddling and watching movies , glad to finally have found our way to each other .
Now I'm sitting here in the bar , thinking about all that . These past weeks something bothered me . Something that could maybe change my whole life ....
