I know what you're thinking. How could I move away from my mom when she needs my help? Don't let that frail old woman fool u fam 😤😤 My momma is one TOUGH COOKIE! She may have suffered a debilitating blow to her hip 6 years ago that made her unfit to walk or work, but she can speed around in her wheelchair like nobody else! Our house is just a single storey unit anyway, so it's not like there are stairs, but if there were, I guarantee she'd find a way up and down them 😳 Ares and I send her money to help pay for her bills and medical, but other than that, she's fully self sufficient. She tends her farm, runs her book club and even teaches piano lessons to the neighborhood kids. She's one bad bitch.
As for my dad? Idk him all I know is that he was a country singer who released like, one album 20+ years ago and then vanished from the face of the earth. He left not long after I was born, I like to think he's still out there somewhere writing country songs and hitting on chicks half his age at bars. He looks kinda skinny and scruffy on the cover of his one album, and when I was younger I used to stare at his photo for hours trying to see which parts of him I inherited.
We look kinda alike. He's grey, and a pegasus. He had shaggy blonde hair, probably the same color mine would be if I didn't dye it. His voice is gravelly and soulful, and he has this wide crooked smile that says he's trouble. Momma always told me I looked like my dad. Isn't that crazy tho? Somewhere out there, Ray DeLuna with his toothy grin and ruby eyes, is probably writing about his daughter, wondering what she's like and where she's ended up.
Ares, on the other hand, totally took after mom, looks wise and temper wise. We don't know his dad either, but I was told he stuck around for a few years after Ares was born, up until I was maybe 2 or 3. I guess momma was a bit of a player during her younger years 😂😂 Like I said, she's a bad bitch. A feisty, cranky, ABBA loving bad bitch 👌🏼💕
