One Concert, Big Changes (1D Fanfiction)

Chapter 1

*Felicia's Pov.*

"EEK! I can't wait this is going to be so awesome!!!" Maddie squealed from my closet. She was currently raiding my wardrobe for something 'satisfyingly beautiful' as she had put it.

"O.M.G!!! I know right! We get to see THE One Direction in concert!!!" my other best friend, Katí shrilled from my desk where she was currently stalking all five members of One Direction on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Honestly, I had no clue why they were so into them. They're just another boy band that will eventually break up and fade away.

"Why are you guys forcing me out to this concert?" I questioned, letting out a deep sigh while doing so.

"Because its our birthday present to you," Katí stated, as if it were already obvious.

"Oh, yes! Of course why didn't I think of that?" I ask sarcastically, rolling my eyes. "If this was for my birthday you guys would have taken me to a concert I would actually enjoy like Panic! at the Disco or Twenty-One Pilots, not to see some low life, wanna be, boy band."

Maddie and Katí jerked their heads up and gasped at my last sentence. "Oh no you did not just say that about my precious boys," Maddie said while snapping her fingers in a "Z" shape. At this I laughed. She would always pretend to go all ghetto trying to imitate this one girl from our senior class.

"Oh, yes I did! Watch ya gonna do 'bout it girl?" I shot back jokingly. There was a short silence that was quickly ended by loud bursts of laughter. Yep, these are my two best friends or as I like to say to confuse people, my "BFFTWE's". I'm not going to tell you what it means, though because if you know, you know. Anyway we have been super close since 7th grade and we are now high school grads. Katí is 17 and Maddie is 18 making me the oldest since I'm turning 19 today.

"AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!" Katí's scream filled the room. Well, goodbye my dear and sweet eardrums. Seems like I was the only one who cared about you. Katí was starring at her phone while jumping up and down. I heard something about Harry Styles and I rolled my eyes at it.

"AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" Maddie screamed adding to the fact that I won't be able to hear anything for the next year. She was now starring at her phone and jumping up and down. Yep, if this weren't happening I would be worried.

"What is it with you two and screaming all of a sudden?!" I asked, trying to regain my hearing.

"HARRY STYLES AND NIALL HORAN ARE SINGLE NOW!!!" they both shouted like it was the most urgently important thing in the world.

"Like, Omg! Really?! I like totally don't care!" I said with the sarcasm and annoyance obvious in my voice.

"You will never understand, will you?" they both sighed and pushed me out the door.

"Fine! I'll go to your stupid concert, but if I miss work tomorrow I'm blaming you two," I pointed. They just rolled their eyes and continued shoving me into the little car that Maddie was driving. With that we left my old, run down apartment for the arena in the next city over.

*Louis' pov.*

"Come on lads! Being single isn't that bad. I have been happily single for two entire months. You get used to it after a while," I stated while trying to comfort the curly haired boy in front of me.

"Yeah, but Niall and I don't want to stay single forever!" he stated solemnly. To be honest, neither did I, but I'll never find a girl like Megan. Or so I thought.
