One Concert, Big Changes (1D Fanfiction)

Chapter 7

~One and a half weeks later~

*Jenni's pov.*

I was so excited when they said yes. That is, after I got over the fact that they were with famous people. We were finally going to London together. My warning to the world, we're coming so look out! I was finally getting to go to London with my favorite cousin and my two friends. This was going to be a time to remember. I'm seriously like a never ending spring of happiness.

I'm sure you're wondering where in the world I was able to get the money to pay for the trip. I had saved up for it since I was in 7th grade. We were all talking about how magical it would be if we could go to London when we were older. I couldn't help but laugh at the memories 7th grade had for us.

My phone buzzed snapping me out of my happy daze. I checked it and instantly groaned when I saw who it was. It was him again. Does he seriously have nothing better to do than harass girls? I sighed in an attempt to calm myself. 

Everything is fine. Don't panic, he probably just wants to talk. That's exactly why he's texted you like 20 times in the past three minutes.

Oh shut up! You are being to negative! Hello Jenni! This is your positive logic speaking, don't listen to my worse half. He's been having some problems.

Oh, yeah, now you're the positive one. What were you saying when she had midterms? Yeah, that's what I thought.

"OH, SHUT UP, THE BOTH OF YOU, SO I CAN FOCUS! I'M GETTING A CALL SO CHILL!" I yelled at my two inner halves. And, yes this happens regularly when I'm bored, or stressed, or nervous, or upset... so, a lot.

 My phone started buzzing again, but this time I was receiving a phone call. I picked up without looking at the caller, and answered.

"Hello?"

"Hey Jenni! This is Maddie! Um, I was with Niall yesterday and he mentioned that you are all Zayn has talked about since last week. I heard he's been texting you non-stop!" I rolled my eyes at the sound of his name. Then, my mind came to the realization that my best friend just said she had been with her world famous crush, Niall Horan.

"Wait- you were with Niall?! Are you guys together?! You are so in love, aren't you?!" I squealed into the phone. Even though, like Felicia, I didn't really like the band, I was still happy as ever for Maddie.

"No! At least not yet..." Maddie trailed and I could sense that she was blushing. I mentally 'awwed' to myself. "Anyway, back to you and Zayn. Are you two togeth-"

I cut her off, "NO!" I stated a little more coldly than I meant for it to be.

"Oh, well then I think he likes you. You should give him a chance," her voice rang though the phone.

"I would if he didn't text me 24/7," I said back, "How did he even get my num- Maddie! You gave him my number didn't you?"

"Well, I-" she started.

"Didn't you?" I repeated.

"Yes, I did and you can thank me later. Now, I have to go. Niall and I are on our way to the carnival to disturb the peace! And eat! Bye!" I heard muffled laughter in the background then a click. Well, at least she was happy.

I brought my phone down to my lap only for it to begin buzzing once more. I groaned at my phone at it. I didn't even have to look at my know to know that I was receiving another text from Zayn. Any other girl would probably die if they were being annoyed by a pop star.

Should I text him back? No, he'll come to his senses and realize I'm not worth it. Yup, I'm going to ignore him and go on with life.

I glanced down briefly at the small device. NO! Bad Jenni! Don't even look at the phone. NOOO! Don't pick it up!

I picked it up and typed out a reply.

To: Zayn Malik - Hey

Oh, see what you've done?!

Within seconds I had a reply. Wow, you'd think someone as famous as him would have something better to do.

From: Zayn Malik - Hi, r u doing anything 2nite? ;) xx

*Niall's pov.*

"Yes, I did and you can thank me later. Now, I have to go. Niall and I are on our way to the carnival to disturb the peace! And eat! Bye!" Maddie said into the phone as I laughed at her. She was talking about Zayn to her friend Jenni. He was seriously obsessed. But, to be honest, so was I. Maddie was so beautiful and adorable. She was perfect in every way. She even loved food like me! I didn't realize I was staring at her until I was drawn out of my obsessive thoughts.

"What? Is there something on me or...?" Maddie asked, looking worried.

"Oh, no, sorry," I apologized, a light blush involuntarily rising to my cheeks. I sighed as I turned on the car.

"Oh, its ok. So, why exactly did you want me come with you to the carnival?" Maddie looked at me inquisitively.

"Cause, Louis is stalking Felicia, Harry is likely sleeping, Zayn is obsessing over Jenni, and Liam is meeting with Ashlee," I stated.

"Oh, wait. Who's Ashlee? I've never heard of her. I thought Liam was dating Danielle Peazer?" Oops, was not I supposed to mention Ashlee? Oh well, I guess she has to know now.

"No, that has been over for a while. He's dating a childhood friend now. Her name is Ashlee," I replied.

"Ohhhhh, that explains a lot," he brunette nodded in understanding.

"Yeah... hey, Maddie?" I asked her.

"Yes?" We were both staring at the road.

"I'm really, REALLY, hungry! So, would you mind if we stopped at McDonald's for a while?" I asked hopefully.

"Of course! I'm starving. I could eat two big macs and two large fries with a large drink!" she exclaimed as I laughed. She was just like me and I just really wanted to be more than friends with this girl. She was amazing!

Maddie's phone began to go off and she quickly took it out. She stared at it as her face began to fall.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"We aren't going to London." As I looked into her eyes, those gorgeous brown eyes, I had never seen more pain and disappointment in two eyes before and it made my heart sink.

"Why?"

Ok boring and short chapter. But aw! Niall is falling for Maddie!!! and double aw! The girls can't go to London! What do you think happened???
