Chapter 18

*Felicia's pov.*

"Shane! Hey!" I giggled as I ran towards an old friend of mine.

"Hey Fel! Long time no see?" He joked, pulling me into a hug.

"I saw you four days ago," I laughed bringing him over to my friends. "Shane, you already know Maddie and Katí," I said as he gave them a polite nod.

"Nice to see you guys again. I'm just saying I've only heard great things about you guys," he smiled. I caught myself staring at him, a bit mesmerized by it. I mean, yes, I like Louis, but its clear that Louis doesn't like me. So... moving on would be a good choice, right?

"This is Louis, Harry, Niall, Liam, Nicole, and Ashlee," I introduced as I pointed to each of them. My friends all greeted Shane, with the exception of Louis who seemed less than thrilled with talking to anyone. He just stood off to the side, by himself. I wanted to say something to him, but I stopped myself. 

"Hey, do I recognize you guys from somewhere?" Shane asked the boys.

"Uh, you should considering your little sister has their faces all over her walls," I chimed in.

"Well, pardon me for not wanting to venture into that war zone. There should be a warning plastered across the outside of her door," he said as he put his hands up in defense.

"Your sister is right, we should hang you," I laughed.

"Just because I don't dare try to understand the female mind, you're going to hang me?" he asked feigning shock. I just laughed and shook my head.

"Ahem..." Katí cleared her throat.

"Oh sorry, anyway, this is 4/5 of One Direction," I said gesturing to the boys.

"One Direction? Hey, I'm their new drummer!" Shane replied and my mouth fell open in surprise.

"Wait, new drummer? I don't think so. We never needed a new one," Harry protested.

"Uh yeah, we did mate," Liam nodded. The other boys exchanged displeased looks at the new bit of information.

"Well, I look forward to working with you," Shane smiled politely. "Anyway, Felicia, I was thinking you and I could go to this really great place I found. My treat, if you're interested," Shane smirked and Ashlee, Katí, and Maddie all gave me enthusiastic nods.

"Okay, sure. Why not?" I agreed before turning back to my friends. "I'll meet you guys back at the house." Then, Shane took my hand and we walked off.

*Louis' pov.*

I couldn't believe it! the moment I was about to apologize this Shane came and messed everything up. She looked so happy with him. That should be me making her happy.

"Aw, they're so cute!" Katí squealed as we watched the two walk off. Maddie noticed me and elbowed her in the side. "What? They are!" she said defensively.

"Well, can we just go eat? I'm starving!" Niall piped up.

"When aren't you?" Harry asked. Niall glared at him and grabbed Maddie' hand, dragging her towards Nando's.

"Hey, Harry. Can I talk to you?" I asked. Harry looked a but like a deer caught in headlights, but he agreed.

"Sure, what's up?" he asked after the others left.

"I think you know," I replied.

"Look, I'm sorry, she just looked so..."

"Beautiful," I finished. "I know and I'm willing to forgive you because I know how difficult it can be."
